Girls’ Trip? What Girls’ Trip? Jen and Heather (and Ty!) take Vegas, 5/9 - 5/14

So Heather and I have had this trip planned since Spring Fling and Vegas Uncorked of last year. We had such a good time that we wanted to do it all again. Although, last year was a little different in that I had several meet ups planned with SF going on, so Heather knew I was otherwise going to be occupied. Heather invited her husband Ty last year which was fine, as it freed up time for me to socialize. This year H and I decided it was going to be strictly a girls’ trip, and we would focus on our relationship.

Then yesterday Heather drops the bomb that Ty decided to take the initiative and buy a ticket to join us, LAST NIGHT!! I got deluged with texts from Heather apologizing for what happened, as she knew that I was going to disappointed that it was no longer just her and I. I was, initially, but the truth of the matter is I love Ty and having him around is no big deal. And, instead of a wing woman, I guess I now have a Wing Team!

Speaking of wings, we are kind of winging a lot of this trip. The only solid things we have planned are dinner at Bavette’s Thursday night with a few friends, along with the main event, the Grand Tasting at Caesars on Friday with @ctslotters!!

We have multiple dinner reservations a few nights and are going to play it by ear. If you’ve read any of my previous reports, you’ll know we like our alcohol, which usually results in us blowing off meals (or in me injuring myself, but that’s not going to happen this trip, RIGHT?!?).

H and Ty are staying at CP with my Dia Aspirations 2 room, and I’m at Cosmo for 5 nights, in a terrace studio. I also lucked into free tickets for Adam Sandler Saturday, which I was planning to do with H, but now that Ty is coming I’m not sure if I’ll go.

Oh, and I’m doing the slot tourney at Cosmo, so I hope to run into lots of other VF’ers there! Also can’t wait to see my good friends @ctslotters, @TwoArmedBandito, and @MonteCarloPlayer!

Ok now that I write this all out, it does seem like we have a lot of plans! Hee hee!

We are on the flight now, ETA in about 90 minutes! Cheers!

 

I know, and I’m so sorry I haven’t responded to your PM’s! I meant to do that before I left but things were hectic .

I don’t think I’m going to do a daybed at Cosmo as the minimums were crazy!
