I have 7/8 family members joining wife and I in October. 2 daughters are booked at Mirage, 1 is booked at the Linq and 1 at Bally's. If they all want to join each other for a pool day (probably at the Mirage from what I've read so far). and they show their room key, is there a problem with their siblings joining them? All the rooms would be under my name and 1 of their names.

Possibly different rules for the different pools??

Not sure if this is the correct board to post this at. If not then please be gentle!

    Thanks in advance.

Not sure what the rule is but if you rent a cabana there shouldn’t be a problem.

If you rent a cabana at Mirage, your guests just have to tell the pool folks the cabana # and name it was booked under.

I can tell you rules for right now, July August , I'm renting a cabana for two days next week and we are only allowed to have five people in that Cabana , this is at the MGM. I also know that no outside guests are allowed at the pool but this is the current Covid rules. I would call pool directly

It's hard to say how things are going to be all the way in October, but many places are enforcing pretty strict capacity limitations. At Aria you just had to show a room key, but now they're swiping apparently. And if you leave after it's hit capacity, you have to go back on the waiting list. And Mirage is one of the most popular hotels in the city, now at half-capacity. It's worth asking, but candidly I'd mentally plan for the answer to be "no".

Good advice above - I was sharing pre-Covid experience, which may not hold! Normally, 10 people per Cabana was the limit at Mirage, that could also be different...

I assume with Social.Distancing its going to be stricter. Can they rent a room for a night or 2?

10 people? Sounds like a large cabana.

Haha, not large enough for my family-we needed two! Sh*t, you know what? Those were on the Oasis side, maybe main pool ones don’t even hold as many?

Ok, f**k it. New Rule: Don’t listen to anything I say! (Unless it’s a restaurant recommendation or something about tequila.) :=)

Never had one at Mirage... so I don't know. But Cosmo and Aria/Sky Suites don't hold that many from what I can recall.

We had 10 or so at MGM Grand coming and going, but that was one of the giant ones by the lazy river. Many cabanas are really not all that big.

I just did two days of Cabanas at the MGM on the lazy river I believe it was #3 they restricted the bracelets to 6 for the Cabana. I will say that the issue with the pools right now is that if you don't go down early enough they've just won't let you in they limit the number of people that go through the gate and then they close it. Obviously if you have a cabana they allow those people to get their bracelets but I went down early every morning. The bracelets and then went back up to the room. But the other two days I was there I went to chairs at the private pool that was very nice the chairs are beautiful. It was quiet and it's just my speed. Again I don't sleep in Vegas and I get up early so it was easy for me to get the bracelets for those as well. We're going back for my birthday weekend which is September 4th through the 8th but this time we booked the Bellagio we have Cabanas there I'm not sure what the scene is or what Cabana I should ask for
