I'm asking because my host told me that the minimum criteria for tickets is $10,000 loss per trip. I find this a bit hard to believe but I suppose that there's no shortage of players who would qualify.

    Any insight would be appreciated.

I haven’t gotten tickets, but was just as Aria a few weeks back, speaking with my host, and he said it would be no issue whatsoever to get tickets when I come back. He seemed to allude to the fact that it works the same as all their corporate tickets, which is they put all the requests in a list, somebody from MGM corporate then ranks the requests based on play, and then go down the list and allocate based on how many the casino has allotted to them. It’s the same process they use for the VGK.

And I have received a few email offers from them giving me comp tickets as well.

It sounds like your host is politely trying to say that your play won’t be good enough to get you off that list, but I could be wrong.

I have never had issues getting tickets from my host - in fact only today he has confirmed tickets for Billboard Music Awards and the Canelo-Jacobs fight, and both tickets have a face value of over $1000.
Considering my BR at the start of 2018 was $10k, I had three trips out of that and my Mlife account is showing a loss of around $6k for the year. So i am certainly not losing the amount of 10k per trip.
I also had tickets for a Golden Knights game (bunker seats) and another Music Festival last year.

The only time I have ever been turned down was for the Mayweather-McGregor fight, and I was told I didn't qualify for that one, which was no big deal.

Maybe you just need to be nicer to your host SilverGolfer :p

I was actually wondering if scalpers are lurking around the theater before the show. Have you done it?

I'm very nice to my host - I think that the issue is that Aria has so many darned Noir players - that us $30K coin-in per trip peons are treated like peons :)

We have comp'd Aerosmith tickets for next week and our losses per trip are nowhere near $10K. Our host is at Delano/Mandalay. However, we were assured of comp'd tickets for Gaga in June when I requested them very early on this year and my host informed me a couple of weeks ago that we are now wait listed because the play requirements for her tickets are very high. He said he didn't even have any he could set aside for us to pay for. The tickets through the box office or third parties are ridiculously expensive-I believe the cheapest was in the $800 reange.
