At time of posting, it’s looking very likely there’s gonna be a Game 6 for VGK vs. COL – game will be in Vegas on Thursday, June 10th. I’ll be in town and it’s been on my list to go to a VGK game, but especially one during the playoffs (and even better if it’s a potential series-clincher for VGK).

I’ve only ever been to a handful of AZ Coyotes games, so have a tough time gauging “value” of ticket prices. So...

I need some help from some hockey experts/veterans on ticket prices I’m seeing on the VGK site (given the anticipated demand and other factors of this particular game).

I only need a single ticket for myself.

Budget is around $450ish but I’ll go as high as $550-$600 if they’re really awesome seats.

I for sure want lower-bowl. Been looking particularly in Sections 9-12, but would be interested in mid-ice...although, the tickets I was browsing were $790 before fees. Do hockey experts have inputs (pros/cons) on picking an area in 9-12 or sticking more to mid-ice? I’m interested in being on the side the home team shoots twice on as opposed to the other side (19, 20, 01, 02).

I can get Section 9, row 6ish for $430 before fees which seems pretty solid...but, again, I’m somewhat clueless on what constitutes true “value” in this case. I pasted this view below, the green dot would be the seat I selected. Looks like I’d have one side of me clear due to something.

I appreciate any inputs. Please let me know if I can clarify anything!

Sadly you're a couple days behind, they just released a whole bunch of tickets last week after Vegas went to 100% capacity.

I'd probably go with those section 9 tickets. Great view, and you're in the lower bowl. The seats you mentioned are not, in my opinion, worth $790.

I will add...there’s not a whole lot of selection at the moment. And I’m worried the longer I wait, the less availability there will be and the prices will continue to balloon. Especially if VGK wins game 5...

It's gonna sell out. If you can afford it and want to be there in person, just grab something.

I'll likely be watching on TV, but they are on a bit of a roll.

Yeah if you want to go, just grab the best you can justify at that time.

Hockey in person is so different than watching it on TV for me. I think you’ll have fun no matter where you find a seat.

(Joe Louis Arena used to have $20 SRO tixs in the Demers/Yzerman/Federov/Probert days. Only way I could go-so much fun)

Personal preference -- I love watching baseball in person, I find it relaxing, but hockey and football I'd rather watch on TV, either at home or with a group of friends. It's gonna be a huge game, either they'll need to tie it up, or this could be their opportunity to clinch it. Either way, GO KNIGHTS GO!

Appreciate the feedback, @44inarow and @claired67!

On one hand, I look at this as a bucket list item and have been telling myself I’ve been wanting to do it for a while.

On the other, I know I’d have a ton of fun if, instead, I end up deciding to watch it at the Cosmo Sports Book...camped out at a VP machine, with drinks & gambling at my disposal; while I know that atmosphere can’t compare to the game itself, I’m sure it’d still be a lot of fun.

I’m hoping that single tickets won’t go as fast (or more will end up being generated depending on how folks buy tix).

First row of the 2nd level is my preference. Much easier to see the entire ice from higher up, and your view is totally unobstructed in that first row. In a perfect world I always get the seat on the aisle as well.

My season tickets were the first row of section 103.

I’VE GOT MY TICKET FOR GAME 6, Y’ALL. I’m so excited for this experience!

My former boss had tickets on the right-hand corner in the lower bowl, and I used to take them whenever she couldn't go, or didn't feel like going (which was pretty often). I and our assistant went to a ton of great games. The energy at T-Mobile is ridiculous on a normal night, and during the playoffs they take it to 11 and then go up a couple more notches.

You won’t regret going! We went to a regular season game and it was worth it. The entertainment value was great! Make sure to attend any pre-game festivities on the plaza.

That exact seat actually disappeared in the hour I was debating on buying! But I found a nearly equivalent, mirror-image option in Section 12 :) $473 all-in. I’m looked online last night and resale for similar tickets is nearly $1k!
