    Hello Vegas enthusiasts!

Wife and I are heading from Canada to Vegas this Friday.

We’ve been there together before with other friends and I’ve been many times as I worked there and have attended for other trips and bachelor parties.

Happy for any VP recommendations… prefer to play JOB and looking for enjoyable bars where the drinks are flowing and can catch some games on tv at the same time. Mostly concerned with the vibe rather than ensuring highest payout.

    Thanks all!

The sportsbook or Chandelier bar at Cosmo seem like good options for you.

    Thanks

To be sure - from my understanding they now have gone to the light system for drinks?

Bonus poker is my go-to at the sportbook at cosmo. Slightly better payback similar variance.

    Have a great trip

Welcome! Where are you staying? Can make some recommendations based on that, as I am a big bartop VP enthusiast myself.

And also a nearly identical strategy to Jacks or Better.

Vibe wise, Cosmo is a good choice for sure, but yeah they'll have a light system on. If you play quarters pretty slowly, it could be a problem. If you play quarters at like 400 hands an hour, then you're fine.

I hear pretty good things about Resorts World's bars too lately for drink quality If you get around that area. But not every bar comps there. I know Gatsby's doesn't. Not sure about Dawg House (where more sports TVs would be). @YOleven would probably know more updated info than I would.

Bellagio sportsbook has a pretty friendly vibe as well. And no lights yet, afaik.

I didn't see it during a game last trip, but I also liked the look of the new Paris sportsbook area, similar layout to Cosmo for the bar area.

    Welcome to the forum!
