    Hey VC-

We usually plan just one meal (almost always dinner... but usually one breakfast or brunch too). We try and eat, because we like to drink, but it usually ends up with us getting our usual morning coffee (a latte and a double espresso or two cappuccinos)... maybe grabbing a snack (like oysters or a quick appetizer somewhere)... and then dinner.

Since we only do one meal a day, usually, we tend to book earlier reservations (like 5:30-6:30pm)... which then gives us the whole evening to gamble, uninterrupted (and that's when we like to gamble). Of course, there are variations... but this is our "usual".

I usually eat twice a day but it varies wildly on what, where, and when!

I have only made reservations once and that was for Gordon Ramsay's Pub at Caesars. The reservations were made a few days prior if I remember correctly.

One of the fun things about Vegas to me is the food!

My must haves when in town are:

    Hash House for breakfast/brunch
Tacos & Tequila at the Luxor
    Pizza Rock at GVR
    Wicked Spoon at Cosmo

    Usually 2 meals a day.
When I am with my friend on a bingo trip we eat as cheaply as possible as I want to put every penny back into gambling. That is usually a free doughnut at bingo in the morning, and maybe a $1 hotdog for lunch and maybe a bag of chips in the evening.
When with my hubby, I eat better. We have breakfast at 9 am, supper at around 7 pm. We will plan to go to 1 really nice restaurant per trip to splurge, I love reading the trip reports so I can pick one for our next trip. I think I have never had room service in my life, so one of these days we are going to do that. Neither of us are fond of buffets, the cheap ones are disgusting and I would rather eat in a restaurant for the same price as the good ones. We do like the Wicked Spoon buffet tho, I plan to take the suggestion I read on here to get a take out box from Wicked Spoon to have on our terrace.

Twice a day for me. Usually an early lunch of good size, and an early dinner at around 6. I'm not a breakfast person when I'm home either so it's not a big adjustment - other than the amount of food I'll eat at a meal in Vegas.

Since I do the early dinners, reservations are usually obtainable a few days before, so when I'm going to steakhouse I'll reserve online.

I don't usually eat breakfast as I'm usually nursing a slight hangover. Breakfast usually is a Starbucks or if the hangover is extreme an Emergen-C and a Gatorade with a handful of excedrin migraine.

Lunch is usually my biggest meal of the day. Sometimes it's a buffet for brunch/lunch, could be a favorite like Grand Lux, Bellagio Cafe or Peppermill. Sometimes it could be something quick from a food court.

Dinner is usually one nice dinner per trip with a 6pm reservation leaving enough time to drink and gamble properly after. Other times it may be an afternoon happy hour with some appies. Again it may involve something fast like a sandwich from LA Subs in the flamingo good court.

Lastly there is always some time of late night night, before bed, drunk food. Maybe a slice from secret pizza or a full montahue from earl of sandwich. If downtown DuPars (no longer) or Coney Island hot dogs or 777 brew pub. I'm also not ashamed to say that in my very drunk state I have been known to grab a gift soft sandwich, a bag of chips and a cherry coke on the way to the room.

Wow after reading what I written it seems I just treat my body like an amusement park in Vegas lol

If I'm solo I have to force myself to eat. I'm too distracted by all the pretty machines!

If I'm not solo it's definitely breakfast and dinner only (if I'm with my husband). I like a standard breakfast of bacon and eggs. For dinner, I prefer simple. We've done a lot of fancy restaurants over the years in Vegas, but it's really not my thing. I'm a shorts and T-shirts kind of person -- dressing up isn't for me at all.

Im the type of person you never need to remind to eat. And trust me it shows. :( I love to eat.

That being said, I usually only eat twice a day in Vegas. If I dont make plans for breakfast I sleep in a little and get a simple lunch (Earl of Sandwich, wings from somewhere, etc). If I do breakfast, I like fancy places and brunches. Did Tableau once and Wynn Jazz Brunch. Still planning which brunch to do for my next trip.

Whether breakfast/brunch or lunch I always have a sit down dinner that may or may not require reservations. I am planning one nice (not necessarily expensive but it may be) dinner for my next trip.

I also like to snack here and there on a reese cup or something like that. I could randomly decide to stop at a place like Chandelier or grab a drink from the ABC store and walk the strip w it.

I dont get room service every trip but I do love room service. It amazes me how good room service food can be. Lol. I got it on my last trip (over a year ago. Yikes!) And I definitely want to have a chill day where I order room service and enjoy my room this upcoming trip. I look forward to the lights and sounds of Vegas but the food is like no other also.

There's really no place like Vegas which sucks because I'm from the east coast.:(

I need to eat three meals per day. If I have a big enough breakfast than I can have a really small lunch, but if I don't eat... well, I'm like coffee addicts who don't get their coffee!

I have to take my "damn pills" (Last Vegas reference) in the morning so I always eat breakfast. Then, depending how hungry we are we either eat a big lunch and a small dinner or vice versa. Usually we do plan one or two "nice" meals that includes pre-dinner cocktails, appetizers, a bottle of wine, and post-dinner drinks. Sometimes a "meal" will be a hot-dog or something, but we usually like to sit down and nosh.
