How Picking Bonuses really work

This is all mostly stuff I have regurgitated in this forum already. But it is one of the most asked questions I get in my mailbag. Everyone asks in different ways. But it mostly comes down to "Does my pick matter"? or even "How can i tell if my pick matters"?

We all have been there before. One pick away from selecting the matching tile for that massive progressive. And yet we flip over the third Mini, and piss and moan about it. But how did we get there? I'm glad you asked!

Just a reminder, I get absolutely nothing from clicks on my site. I don't sell anything. I don't ask for anything, there are no ads or popups. Its all just a hobby for me. And its easier to share trips and thoughts in mass, than to copy and paste in messages boards.

 

Or maybe a combo of both. Its honestly pretty scummy to let players think they were so close to a big win. When in reality, it was impossible once the first pick was made. I think everyone was OK with the No Show = Predetermined thing. After conditioning players with that for 2 decades, then to switch it up with showing the impossible just doesn't sit well with me.

 

We loved Biloxi! Id certainly do it again.

The sad thing is, even with all those tier credits, I'm not even half way to Gold. They don't have the TC multiplier, like Vegas does. I'm with you. I was Platinum for as long as I can recall. But no where near now. I know its mostly physiological. But I went from staying/playing with MGM multiple times a year. To hardly ever now, after the program changes. I just feel ripped off.

Not that I got a ton of use from being Platinum. But it made me feel fancy! To think I could drive nearly $40,000 of coin through the slots over a few days, like at Biloxi. And just barely be Pearl, makes me sad and feel like its not worth it to play with them.

 

I loved Biloxi! I am almost mad it took me 25 years of gambling before I finally made it over there. Ditto Reno, I cant wait to get back there again as well. My first time was just last year.
