MGM is much worse. You get 4 TC per dollar for non- gaming spend (but you need 200k there for platinum, not 50k), but you only get 1 cent in RCs per dollar, unless you use the MGM rewards credit card of course.

 

You may be mixing some things, and TCs are totally apples and oranges.

4 vs 5 TCs per $1 of spend sounds close but it's not. Because the tier thresholds and benefits are totally different.

Forget TCs and look at the rebate/rewards points side of it, because that's apples to apples..

You get a penny of MGM Rewards Points per $1 of spend.

You get 5 cents of Identity Points per $1 of spend.

 

The real headache behind is that they are using different players tracking systems from rival companies. Their databases are not compatible.

 

Time will tell, but they sure don't seem close to merging yet, so this seems likely.

 

My host told me Feb 2024 as well as the on duty host

 

I think the timing will fit with Mlife because it resets on Feb 1?? The sliding identity tier level dates makes it easier to sync. Maybe.
