Based on what I can get from the website here is what I know. Please correct me if I am wrong.

    Video Poker - 1 Tier Point = $6 coin-in
    Reel Slots - 1 Tier Point = $2.50 coin-in
    Video Slots - 1 Tier Point = ????

    Levels -
    Sterling - 4000+ points
    Gold - 20000+ points
    Platinum - 50000+ points
    https://www.cosmopolitanlasvegas.com/identity-membership-rewards

I know there are multipliers on each levels but I don't believe those go to the tier status point and help you maintain that level. Correct?

If that is all correct, it seems like a lot of coin-in to just hit Gold level playing VP. ($120,000 coin-in) Maybe I am missing something.

Does anyone know if they will match any of the Tier level for someone that already had a card and put in very little play but would like to start playing more there?

I would love to know this, too!

And does anyone know if the Imperial Baccarat games earn points like Video Poker? I think I had read that some where.

not exactly what I wanted to hear. :) I had them match Platinum 2-3 years ago but I didn't back to Vegas as much that year to maintain it. I am now looking to move around a little bit more but the "cost of entry" to get similar service makes changing properties a little hard

The multipliers do not help you advance tiers. You also left out that spending nets points. $1 = 5 points.

I've actually met people that had advanced to platinum strictly by spend.

I don't doubt it all. If I can find another work event at Cosmo, I will be running up the charges.

Spa visits are a hell of a way to boost tier status. Haha

I believe all slots are $2.50 a point now. The system used to be a worse spread for VP players. $1.50/$7.50 a point for Slots/VP respectively in the past.

I'm pretty sure it's 12 months from the time you earn it? I just always check at identity desk to see where I'm at when I go :)

I think that is right. When I read the program details it noted a rolling 12 month period. Not sure I like that either but understand as it makes players come in more often.

The day you advance a tier, that becomes your anniversary or reset date. Accumulate points to maintain your tier within 365 days. Advancement to a tier always looks at the trailing 365 days from today. I'm pretty sure it adds on a year if you hit the points early. Such as my gf, she got to Sterling during super bowl 2015. Went came back in May and she did another 4K points and her tier reset data is now Jan 2017.

I am back on this tread with a question that I maybe others would want to answer to.

According to the web page, the Bonus points at the Platinum level at 3x, however I am not sure that is just for slots or also for VP. Does anyone know if the bonus points also apply to VP? I understand I have to play more to get each regular point but have the bonus would be nice.

The multipliers are for slots only.

that is what I thought. They really need to do something to get more VP players. At half the theo of most others casinos and no real perks, it isn't a great deal for those that are VP mostly. They already handicap the VP players with about a 2.5 times earning factor on points, getting the bonus would be nice a nice perk to play there. just a suggestion, Kevin .. @Cosmo_Slot_Vice_President

VM beat me to it. Unfortunately I only think slots get the multipliers. https://www.cosmopolitanlasvegas.com/identity-membership-rewards They stop mentioning the requirements for VP in the areas with multipliers. :( If VP got multipliers, then 9/6 JoB would be slightly positive with triple identity points.

Not surprising, but it's unfortunate cosmo sounds like they use "optimal play theo" for VP. If you played 9/6 TDB w/DSTP the whole time there, then the optimal play theo should be about 1.35% of your total coin-in.

Other properties just estimate theo on the entire unit (some older units can't even have different theo settings for each game), so better paying games often get better relative comps in those cases. One of my locals is like this, nickel/dime games on the banks are terrible paybacks, but quarter/50c is "full pay". So the theo setting is likely between 1.5%-2%. I get about 0.5% coin-in back in free play helping make the best game slightly positive after that and player points. I just need to find that quarter royal to make it positive...lol

As far as you getting more theo from CET and MLife though, keep in mind you were playing lower payback games there usually with DSTP. But if you got 3% actual theo at PHo for 9/5 DDB w/DSTP (1.63% optimal theo), that's pretty good. The question is though, would you get a third of your earned 3% theo back in comps at PHo? You probably will be at Cosmo. Also as long as you're getting the "comp level" you want, then paytables become more important, imo. More money in your pocket is better than more comps.

I know what you are saying tring but that doesn't mean I have to like it. lol

Cosmo does have the best game for me right now but I have to put in a lot of play to get what I would generally get somewhere else with half the play. And yes, I know the pay tables are worse but with high variance games like TDB with DSTP, the premium hands are what makes or breaks the trip for me and those are all the same. I completely understand that I have to play more for the same base points, but some sort of bonus would be great. I think I get that with V/P with my status level (but I would have to check) and I know I do with MLife.

I am still waiting on my numbers from CET but it was right at 3% last time, so I don't expect that to change.
