July 2024 - trip #33 - Fabulous Fontainebleau

I was on the verge of bailing out this morning
The 9:40am SWA flight was delayed...
I got to the airport with plenty of time
But they did not start boarding?
doing safety checks? Delayed with no update
Ugh

Ended up a full hour delayed
Cutting into my precious daytrip time
But oh well
Still went through with it

Booked a room at Fontainebleau through a host

 

Limo pickup at airport
A person met me when I was dropped off to walk me to the VIP check-in

I used regular check-in last time when I booked by calling on a corporate offer
So there is some difference there

Coffee and snacks available
Was told they serve "lunch" later. Should have asked what they serve

The game of the day is ... Crapless

I played at regular craps for about 2 hours. Mostly treading water
Then went to crapless and rolled myself the bonus and rolled the 3 about 5 times within that session
Had it pressed up to $500 and then regressed to $300

So I was down a bit from craps then won money at crapless
In for $4200, colored up for $8900
Went to go eat at Bar Ito

I felt so bad tossing that box
It felt so wasteful

Good sushi rolls
Expensive
$33 for 3 rolls
$50 for 5?
The rolls are pretty small. Should have gotten the 5 rolls for sure

Went back to regular craps after the meal but no good
Went back to crapless and was on a rollercoaster
Almost gave back the winnings ...
But thankfully I never dipped below my buy-in
Had a nice comeback at the end

I am holding $10,300 in cash so +$6k for the day?
Feels good to book a win finally

I like FB
Everything is new and shiny
I don't like the longer craps table but I can live with it

I stopped by the vip lounge and grabbed some cookies and macarons

 

I got some craps footage here and there
The real gem will be the crapless session

When I was done, I saw that my phone had died
So I wasn't sure when it turned off. Thankfully it recorded almost all of the crapless session so there will be some good videos coming out of it when I get around to reviewing and editing
Hitting that 3 over and over saved the day
