Jyen's 24 hour trip to Red Rock recap

Last trip was May 11 with buddy Joe.

He had book the memorial weekend trip to the red rock and he has been talking me to go with him ever since we got back.

Fast forward to Friday of memorial weekend. Joe landed in Vegas and was sending picture of his handpay and premium hit on those vp to me. Well, I had the itch but Vegas every 2 weeks!? That's too much right!?!

When Saturdays comes, I've been texting with Joe about his trip. This guy wouldn't shut up about his experience and his winning in Vegas, I was fed up. When I get fed up, I tend to make irrational decision.


Texted him said I'm coming to Vegas tomorrow!!!


I decided to make a Mlife booking at the Excalibur, this is one of the property I've never stay or wanted to stay but since I'm just booking it for the freeplay and resort credit and thought why not to check it out.

As always, I booked a local casino near the airport to check in on Saturday night and catch a 8am flight.

 

Saturday night at the local casino a night prior my flight depart. I lost 1k.

Sunday... The mian event!


Landed Vegas and Uber to Excalibur.. It was smooth and was given some sort of suite at the royal tower.

The room to my surprise was consider decent. I would say slightly better than the Luxor. Still not a fan of Excalibur casino floor tho.

Proceed to the high limit room and play off my FP, couldn't hold the urge and donkey off additional 2k in the HL room.


We met at Tom's Urban for quick lunch as Joe arranged a vehicle to pick us up from NYNY to Red Rock.


The chicken wings were good but the steak was meh. Drinks were good tho, I really enjoy the cocomojito on a hot day. Ordered 3 of them, thanks Mlife!!!

 

Arrived the Red Rock shortly after lunch, this is my first time gone off strip. A brand new Vegas for me.


I'm really bad with picture taking. But the lobby is quite nice. The whole casino has mix decor and atmosphere of aria/cosmo.

 

After drop our backpacks into the room, Joe decided to show me around. Man, the casino is HUGEEE!!

So Joe showed me both high limit rooms and said this is it man.

Let's go to reward club and get you sign up a card.

After I signed up, Joe asked, is there anymore you wanted to see? If not, let's go to the high limit. Let me show you this S3P machine I kept telling you about.

Tho I wanted to explore the floor a bit more but I guess S3p machine is far more important.

We sat down side by side. I proceed to get my first quad of the trip.




I took it slow and switch to quarter 10 plays and got my first special quad of the trip.

Then I shifted to dollar and got my first hp of the trip.

 

After spend sometime dabble the S3P machine, I told Joe I'm gonna try the wheel poker machine at the nearby.

I tried wheel poker for the first time 2 weeks ago at NYNY and got a dealt Aces. Highest denom at nyny was quarter 5 plays. That was a damn good memory.

I told Joe, I'm gonna get a dealt Aces again so I can spin the God damn wheel.

I started with 1 dollar denom 3 plays.

I think I insert a tito of 400 dollars and was down to my last pull that I got this. Yes, another fucking dealt Aces again!! I drew my first card, no kicker. That's fine. I was super stoked and called Joe over.

"I got fucking dealt Aces again man, no kicker on the first one" . I press the machine again, Kicker!!!! Press it again, Kicker!!!!"

This maxhine just spilt out 2 kicker on a 3 plays. Where I only got 1 kicker of my 5 plays at nyny last time I played.

 

After the big hit, I told Joe I'm gonna go dabble ultimate aces a bit.

I got owned by that machine 2 weeks ago on the first attempt.


Few pulls in, got Quad aces with 5x multiplier!!! Another $4100 handpay but too bad the kicker didn't show up otherwise would be 10k in the pocket.

After the handpay, I play a little more and no other hits worth mentioning .

 

I was feeling good and decided to stay around the high limit area and try out most of the gimmicks I've never try before.

First I played some multi strike poker, the game is tough and graphic was shitty so I didn't spend too much time on it.

Then I was playing powerhouse. Started with 3 plays. Then I went into the menu and see the more hands you play, more multiplier there is.

So I bump it up to 10 plays... At $100 per pull....

I spent about 800 before I got this dealt flush to me.

It was quite scary so I decided to quit after the handpay. Lol

 

Went back to the HL room and Joe is still grinding away on the same S3P. He has gotten quite a few hps at this time.

I sat next to him and started playing..



Then it comes to a long drought of nothing. I got bored again and switch to the ult x beside Joe. Hit a dealt quad for small hp rather quickly.




Moving onto my next session, I went and play frenzy TDB which is a game that doesn't offer at my local.

I've tried chase for aces or premium trips. Too bad the aces didn't show up and the only chance for a major hit was a bust.
I think I rolled about 2.5k to 3k on this machine.

 

I think we've played about 7 hours at this point. Went to grab quick bite at the noodle house. Food was decent, no complaints.

 

After late dinner, back to the grind again.

The luck seemed to be away from me, the quad were coming once every 2 hour kind of session.

It wasn't too long that I lost all my cash. It was around 4am.. Played vp for about 13 hours straight

 

Coin in for the trip was 93k. So close to get to the president tier.. Haha

Red Rock is nice, I recommend people to check it out at least once, especially VP player. I know I will be back to play some more VP.

I've never seen so many VP machines on the floor before.

High limit slot is kind of suck tho, the choice is very limited. I guess it's a good thing for me, kept myself discipline and stick to VP



Joe rolled about 130k coin in and hes a winner !!!!! Lucky bastard !!!

 

Sort of suck that we dont get the full amount from the handpay but it sure offset the losing a little bit. Always looking forward to that x'mas gift in December from the US Governent

 

It didn't felt like that long when we were playing haha.
Felt so bad waking up, had about 3 or 4 hrs of sleep then was heading to the airport.

Without the force holding? Hmm.. Probably even longer until I hit a monster but honestly probably going to give it back eventually

I don't mind the tax withheld

The plan is go back last week of June but still up in the air, but I was told they don't comp well for VP player.
