Ok, well past time to put a bow on this TR. Overall, four nights would have been a little too long for a solo trip for me, but the company of board members made it fly by.

Really enjoyed @VegasChic ’s company and some key lime pies at Fusion Thursday afternoon, very classy lady and good conversation. Lots of fun at the HL pull Thursday night. We didn’t win, but Davinci’s Diamonds gave us some good play. Good to renew acquaintances with @VegasChic (again) and @Evoni and make acquaintances with @NoaNoa007 and his wife, @HavingFun and his wife, @Stardust1958, @New York Lady, and @bebe.

@New York Lady and @bebe forced me to go to Fusion again that evening and have more key lime pies. I had a lot of fun, really enjoyed meeting you both. Too bad you didn’t get Wendy’s version, but we’ll save that for another session so we can compare. I sure hope @Hoofy7 survived the cruise, I missed her at Fusion.

Best surprise of the trip was meeting @VegasMonkey and @Aaron5 for dinner at Zuma. Awesome Old Fashoined and gracious dinner companions. First time I’ve ever had a lobster table dance! Fun to see @Aaron5 work his magic at the slots and see Sharknado’s “golden shower”. We briefly bumped into @HavingFun again at Cosmo too. Had a blast with these fine folks.

Got to meet up with @bebe and her entire entourage as well. Sorry about the oil slick at Comso. I wish I’d been taking videos when they were introduced to the Verbena, classic looks on their faces! What a fun group, hope our trips coincide again sometime.

I still love the resort at V/P, although the gambling conditions seem to continue to deteriorate. The pools and the rooms are so beautiful and comfortable, I needed some time away and this is the perfect resort for just relaxing and doing nothing. Well, nothing but drinking and gambling sometimes! Bouchon’s breakfast and Delmonico’s whisky selection are the best on the strip, and the key lime pies at Fusion are still tasty and strong. Still, Sheldon seems to get more miserly every trip, comps were minimal, but I was down only about $600 for my night’s stay.

Once again, I really enjoyed Cosmo. The strip view terrace in the Boulevard tower has great views, I much prefer it to the fountain view. However, if you are noise sensitive, it’s not for you. I was on the 50th floor and the noise from the strip on Friday and Saturday was not loud, but it was noticeable. Not bad at all on Sunday night tho.

Cosmo is currently my favorite casino. @Cosmo_Slot_Vice_President and his team do a great job on the casino floor, seems like there’s something new and fun every trip. Sharknado is a blast, silly, but a blast. Several different bonuses and they seem to hit fairly often. It could be a real drain on the wallet if you get in a cycle without many bonuses, as the regular play doesn’t pay well. Heidi’s Bier Haus is fun for a little bit, and while the bonus has fun music, it doesn’t seen to hit often and didn’t pay well for me. I had 50+ free games and won less that $20 while betting $1.50. I hope your results are better! Overall I did pretty well there, down a total of about $400 after free play was done on about $1800 of theo.

Really enjoyed my Sunday morning walkabout. Beautiful, crisp morning after the rain and fog from Saturday moved out. Should have stuck with that, as I got crushed on my Sunday evening walk. Was up a bit after my nice run of V/P on the 9/5 JoB machine in the HL room at Planet Hollywood and was down just a little bit a the bar at LeCaberet after a couple of hours enjoying the music, but the Paris slots destroyed me after that. Down about $1500 on less than $4000 coin-in, ugh, stupid. But, down $2500 for a four night trip isn’t a bad trip for me overall.

Was pretty light on the drinking except for the first day. Wasn’t feeling the greatest Fri and Sat, not really sick just felt like I was getting there, so I took it easy. Probably a good choice. I’ve really come to appreciate The Henry as a good general restaurant, it’s perfect for a single diner, but just good solid grub all the way around. Dinner with VM and Aaron was my first time at Zuma and I enjoyed it very much, as much for the company as for the food. I will definitely go back, my wife and daughter would love it. It’s nice to try all the varieties in a tapas-like place for Japanese. Great flavors and lots to choose from….awesome Old Fashioneds! Thanks again Aaron and VM for a great dinner and the company.

The interactions with board members really made this trip for me. I’m sure I would have had fun without meeting up with everyone, but a week later I remember the fun we had together much more than the gambling. Thanks again to @VegasChic and @VegasMonkey for running such a positive, friendly board, and thanks to all of the folks I ran across for a great time. I can’t wait until Spring Fling, just finished booking everything today!

While I enjoyed every minute of my solo trip I have to say one of the highlights was the HL pull and meeting new people. Forced to go to the Fusion bar with me and @bebe? LMAO..yup we each grabbed a ear and dragged you the whole way.....
I can get a comp room for the April trip and use my bonus from this month for the airfare but play money...hummm not so much. Think it will be fall before I make it back but hey you never know

Great TR Dave. These are my medicine in between visits to LV. I envy so many of you for how often you get out there (envy sounds more respectable than jealous). I gotta get more of this forum in my diet!
