All right folks. Back home. Not sure what the issue is but really lagged this time. Details: Mandalay Bay Thursday-Sunday afternoon. The Nugget Sunday night. Couple of my oldest friends, no wives, hence, no adult supervision.
Landed 7:15 AM Thursday out of Columbus Ohio
    IMG_5207.JPG

Driver there waiting and the electronics in the limo occupied our time in the ten minute trip
    IMG_5122.JPG IMG_5124.JPG

Checked in and stopped by host office to get Hoops Island passes and free swag
    IMG_5163.JPG IMG_5135.JPG

Ok Las Vegas, let's dance.....$1700 free play activated and off to Pinball rotating between $50/$100/$200 pull and.....nothing. Not even a cherry.

And now, the highs and lows of a degen. Logic told me I wasn't betting the $200 bet enough, and HOLY SHIT, IT WORKED!
    IMG_5205.JPG

But..... IMG_5206.JPG does this site have a middle finger icon, if so, please place here.

Anyway, shook it off and went and watched hoops. Hoops Island, much better than last year. The set up was better, the food selection was better, everything.
    IMG_5164.JPG IMG_5165.JPG IMG_5168.JPG

They rotated the food every couple hours from breakfast to lunch to dinner. Drink are free other than tip. And they had some really great young ladies as servers with the right mentality for that crowd. I was very impressed with their demeanor and attitude because a couple times I wanted to ask some of the patrons of this was the first time they had ever been out of the house without the Mrs. And that's not me. I'm a live and let live kind of guy. But I do not like douchebags messing with people trying to do their job. Ok, off the soapbox.

Other than a couple more small handpays Thursday was rough.

The best machine was one I play for fun. A $5.00 max bet fire and ice. I damn near hit a handpay
    IMG_5136.JPG IMG_5141.JPG
I had several bonuses in excess of $500.

Food: Thursday was at Hoops Island and Citizens for a wrap. Friday was at NYNY at Gallaghers. Host told me they were lining up to get into 9 fine Irishmen at 7:00 AM. Remember it was St Pats day. Couple of good hits at NYNY Pinball
    IMG_5208.JPG
I came back to the machine and didn't realize it had. Reset to the $5.00 bet. First pull:
    IMG_5145.JPG

Suddenly, I found myself in Heaven.

After a good night at NYNY I go back to the Bay for some Pinball. Ready for this? Are you sure? That's right baby.... BACK TO BACK TO BACK TO BACK PINBALLS!! A new personal record! Not sure why the first video screen shot says Luxor but I assure you it was Mandalay Bay 1) Luxor doesn't have two coin high limit Pinball 2) even in my prime I couldn't run from Luxor to Mandalay In Five minutes
    IMG_5209.JPG
    IMG_5212.JPG IMG_5213.JPG

I missed the second hit. Pic down below in other post

Now I'm JACK UP. Of course I chased a little too much but all in all a good day

Love the pics. Was thinking of going to Gallagher's again. Haven't been there in about 8 years. Is the New York strip still as good as I remember?

Next day was OK. A few more handpays and a nice quick blackjack session
    IMG_5174.JPG
    IMG_5169.JPG
No, I didn't buy the shirt.
    Foundation room for dinner.
    IMG_5204.JPG
View NEVER gets old. They no longer have Waygu on the menu. All US prime. Still awesome. And did I mention the view?

We have had some discussion about world of wonka. A pod of them is in front of the M Life desk. I had six session at the $6.00 12x bet. I never lost. Nothing huge other than maybe this one, but again, how is this not a handpay on a $6.00 game? Got the bonus and the wonka spins. Second spin
    IMG_5214.JPG
Total bonus was $600 something. I scratched my head on that one.

I think I forgot the room view
    IMG_5134.JPG

A few more handpays and off to GN. I really enjoy it down there. A completely different vibe. And it was JUMPING Sunday night. And I'm here to tell you, they had the machines WIDE OPEN!

First machine multi denom double top dollar. I chose $10 credit $20 pull. First $100
    IMG_5215.JPG .

It's over by the 24kt players desk for those who play there. While waiting, a $5.00/$10 pull double top dollar. First $100
    IMG_5216.JPG

And it was like this all night. No more hand pays but $500-$1000 wins all night! Did NOT want to leave.

All in all, a great trip. Just over $180k coin in at Mandalay/NYNY and I left with just over $7k than I started with. No idea on coin in at GN but I hit them for just under $10k.

Thanks for reading and best of luck on your next trip.

I had the bone in Rib Eye but I assure you the Strip is still elite. The service there is amazing. It is a must stop every trip for me.

    Congrats on a winning trip!
Jealous of the hits, but then again I don't really have the bankroll for those kind of bets (well, not unless I'm willing to go broke in the first hour haha)

Loved the pics, and thanks for the TR

    Fantastic hits this trip!

I just don't get this new World of Wonka machine! I REALLY want to like it, love the immersive screen etc but struggling on understanding the payouts. I'm shocked you had that many Wonkas for that payout!!

Thanks for sharing, looks like it was a great trip overall- have to check out the foundation room one of these times for sure!!

Sweeeeeeeeet! I rarely ever ever ever get a Pinball when I play. However, during my last trip to Aria, I got back to back Pinball, inside Spin...I thought my luck hit a peak then...I truly hope that's not the case! I hope to be able to match your record, and I hope you break your own record, in the near future!

Congrats on a winning trip! I may have to give PB a try at MB later this weekend. I think I'll avoid that Wonka! Great TR!

I rarely make it to Aria. Not sure why. I enjoy it when I am there. So, small sample, but I have had a line hit on the Pinball in Spin. But no pinballs. BUT, there are two multi-denom pinballs outside of Spin. Facing the machines, the one on the right I have had good success on with the three credit $10 level, including a 250 credit pinball for $2500. My largest number of credits (not money, just credits) on one bonus. Believe me, it was a party when I got the four in a row. No one was in the high limits but the attendants and me. We were having a good time. But, Like I said in the write up, unfortunately a little light doesn't come on saying that the payouts are done!!!

The Pinball will be easy to find as there is only one!
Again, your mileage may vary but try the fire and ice games near House of Blues. Two of the four were red hot the entire trip. I would tell you which ones but I'm not sure how to describe it as they are in a pod. But those two, 9 out of 10 times, would give either a fire and ice spin bonus or a huge in game bonus with the fire 7s. One thing that I did pick up on quickly was if you get a nice size win, get off. They weren't stacking at all.
