MGM's Profit Growth Plan- what changes have you felt?

Haven't felt any changes yet pocket wise so far only change I have felt is no long wap available on aristo games at any mlife property's.

Also biloxi trip to the beau where they do not do any discretionary comps before taking express comps but pretty sure that was pgp.

Trying to get in good at other properties rather then rely on good offers from mlife only.

 

No just drink Jack and diet lol.

 

I'm a PGP victim. My upcoming trip, I have a 2 bedroom panoramic suite at Mandalay Bay comped for 3 nights with $1000 of F&B and $175 freeplay. My host, Bob Rosati, would NOT comp me a limo!? In 33 trips, I've never not gotten a limo.

Anyone want to pick me up at McCarron next Sunday morning at 940am. I'll treat for brunch at Fleur. Lol!

I'll probably just take Uber. Cheaper than the $20 I tip the limo driver.

The dumbasses have the limo drivers sitting around anyways so idk why they won't do it. Yeah uber from airport will be quick and probably $10

Hard to believe someone with that level of comps can't get a quick limo ride.

My god that's pitiful! Sorry to hear no ride , which I would assume is the least expensive of all your comps. (Isn't the price of gasoline still rather very economical, shame on MGM)

 

I was in Vegas unexpectedly at the end of this past February. I forget if it was Aria or Bellagio, but one of them stopped serving Grey Goose on the slot floor.

 

I just can't believe he won't comp a limo! You should seek out the director of marketing while you're at MB and tell him your leaving if he won't assign you a host at the MB property. Also, go try Cosmo if you haven't already. They matched my MB spring offer and assigned me a host. I'm spending two nights there during my June trip. Can't wait! I hope you kill the slots on your trip. (Try Kitty Glitter and Wolf Run in the MB HL room). I hope you'll do a live TR.

 

Thanks Elf. I just might do that with my remaining MGM offer of 3 nights in a suite, $750 food and $200 freeplay. If Cosmo would match it that would be awesome!

send the offer to Kevin Sweet at Cosmo he will match it and send a limo.

Ok take UBER to the cosmo but I heard Kevin has been great in matching slot players offers.

Pretty much whole limo fleet is running on natural gas. Even cheaper

 

It is ridiculous they will not comp a player with your history a limo. The cost to them is marginal at best they already have the limo and the drivers sitting around. Granted we are talking about a 10 buck Uber ride but having the limo pick you up at the airport just sets a tone for a trip that is hard to beat. You would think they want you excited and ready to gamble, not grumpy over having to deal with Uber to save them 3 dollars in gas. Just absolute business prevention at work.

 

Did you ask him why not? OR, offer him a deal, take the $1K and reduce it to 900 - help him find a way to say yes...

 

I did ask to reduce the 1k. No go. He won't explain to me why. I'm so done with him being my host. I'd rather have individual property hosts.

Hope you also told him that - dumping him and why. No need to hit him over the head on it but just for full disclosure. No need to burn that bridge. One never knows what the future might bring.

 

Is this a non mlife host? Like an outside host?
