    2 sets with bags, shoes, balls, etc weighing in at 49 lbs. Spirit Airlines- your scale better agree!

    Time for sleep on what was a very long Thursday and tomorrow it will be Friday (again)!

    You can always drop a few lbs by taking out the extra golf balls. You only need one!

    Oh I’ve got some details....mainly that I left a good chunk of $$ behind at V/P if anyone is looking to pick some up! The slots were being tough so we decided to give a go at video poker this trip. It actually gave us quite a bit more endurance, but we had a few bitter sweet hits!

    Those were the painful ones, got several non premium 4oaks at $1 to even things out!

    And at the $2 level it was REALLY trying but no go on finding the 4th.....

    Also have some pics from the Venetian pool deck to share....would love to know what others think if they stop by!

    LOVE the changes, it looks beautiful, super sexy, clean and swank vibe! Like the colour scheme. Seems though that they didn’t realize how slippery the marble would be that was installed so you will see the dark blue mats in all the walk areas. The only thing I don’t like about the pool is the shade! These pics were taken at 11:30, and only one area had a sliver of sun. Not sure what part of the day, or if earlier in the year it may be better!

    Some of the cabanas have their own plunge pool....these look insane!!! Could def see getting one of these next summer!

    Although these daybeds were closed that day, the ones in the middle of the pool are first come basis without charges!

    I have always done Palazzo pool.....can anyone comment on sun/shade at Venetian pool? It seems to get a lot less sun? Anyway....hope the weather holds good enough for the pool this week for everyone!

    My last trip there i was drinking all day.. got there and was dancing to the live band..not realizing it was only like 730 pm haha.. a good time no matter what time.

    Ugh. Aces on Deuces is the absolute worst! But at least the four 2s were 400 I suppose.

    VP relatively slaughtered me at V/P. Fortunately, @Lousyatcraps and @3vees were distracting me significantly.

    Uhhhhhhh...Spirit weight limit is 40 lbs. @Mr2BOBCATS!!!!

    We were 40.4 lbs... they said we were good, they really don't start charging until 41 lbs.

    41-50 lbs. is $30 extra.

    If @Mr2BOBCATS got the works package with Spirit, he’s already prepaid to check 50 lbs.

    DTW would charge. I’ve seen many people remove stuff from checked luggage to avoid it.

    The Palazzo pool is very pretty.

    Yes @claired67 is correct. We have the bundle package with Spirit which allows the extra 10lbs on the checked bags. Our backup plan though is to stuff the balls into a carry on or personal bag if the scale at DTW is a liarface.

    That Palazzo pool area IS beautiful @VegasChic, but what were they thinking by blocking most of the sun?!?
    So sorry about the dollars lost on the gambol! Wish your stab at VP had been luckier, and the slots not cooperating? Boo! Those of us staying there (or nearby) will see if we can reclaim some of it!

    For some reason, I am up again!! I just can't seem to sleep in this town. No big wins to post from yesterday. Actually, not a lot of winning in general..but any day where there is day drinking and gambling is a good one. Lunch at China Poblano.....hit the spot and delicious. Aerosmith cancelled exact two hours before show time. So disappointing, but we grabbed Tix last minute to see Opium. Fantastic. I would recommend it for those who have are comfortable with general raunchiness and nudity. I've played Huff and Puff for hours ....what can I say??? issues. Anyway, at some point yesterday I managed to make Sterling. Going to Wicked Spoon at before check out! Part 2 begins today. Mom flew in so we can celebrate her 70th! Moving over to TI and hoping to win a little something! Who am I kidding? I want to win something big!! 30 something trips to Vegas and waiting on my first hand pay! Hope to post some wins later. Safe travels to everyone today .
