Must haves in Vegas

Hi I will chime in on drinks. Lately a must have is a lemon drop martini at Maestro's at Crystals. They pour it over dry ice and leave you the shaker, to top up your drink with. It is a great tasting drink and the dry ice makes for a cool experience. Another must do for me is happy hour at Todd English. Half priced pints and glasses of wine. They also have sliders, wing and oysters for cheap eats. I like the atmosphere at the bar. I have had the verbena at the Cosmo and highly encourage you to give it a try...it is an experience. A final stop for me is the Mandarin Bar at the Mandarin Oriental. Drinks aren't cheap but the view is amazing. In fact if you want to try out all of those places you could do a great bar hop and hit all of them as they are very close to each other.

 

Add in the Caesar salad with extra croutons along with the spicy rigatoni and veal parm at carbone and you will be in heaven. Damn, I can't wait until April

 

Unless you really like garlic , avoid Ceasar salad. Or ask for light garlic. At Carbone.

I'm a steak and eggs guy.....almost every morning in Vegas.....

 

While on slot floor of Bellagio, I like to order frozen peach bellini. Others like the Bellagio cocktail .

Holsteins in Cosmo is good for lunch or a snack. Boozy shakes, burgers and I loved the poutine. Lago in Bellagio is supposed to be good for lunch but I haven't been.

You should be able to charge to your room from any Mlife property and that may also include Mandarin Oriental and Four Seasons. I think you can charge to your room at Todd English too.

Along with Chandelier at Cosmo, I really like the Vesper bar near check-in. Their menu has a classic cocktail followed by a more modern take on that cocktail.

For American, I love Sage at Aria.

 

Must have snack for me, shrimp and chicken fritters to go from the Bally Thai place. We usually end up with two our three orders that we pound at the roulette or blackjack table while getting yelled at by pit critters. Fritters are amazing. Very well balanced and surprisingly filling.

The caprese salad at Carbone is a nice alternative to the Caesar if you're avoiding garlic! It's heavenly! I would advise not to rush dinner there, just savour the courses and sip slowly.

GR Steak in Paris has delicious food, and the room is awesome, too... minus the Steak Display Cart Guy.

+1 for mon ami gabbi. My fave Brekkie is Peppermill, though, for the pure Vegas Kitsch and big shareable plates. (Voted fave hangover breakfast in the world.)

You realize I still have not eaten at Carbone. lol I'm always to cheap to spend the money when I eat free where I'm staying. You guys save me your leftovers? I'm not too proud to get a doggy bag!
