We just returned from our Vegas trip two weeks ago and boy did we have a blast! We stayed on our Cosmo teaser offer from our last trip with two free nights and I piggy backed my Sterling night for a total of three nights at Cosmo. I could not have been happier with my stay! The wife and I decided that we are only going to stay and play at Cosmo from here on out. For the amount of money that I brought this trip I received a lot of play for my money. I think in all I accumulated around 2500 points minus the two time multiplier, so around 1250 actual points from gaming. Not a lot but a lot more than last year for the money. My new offer is $25 in free play with a casino room rate. My question is what do you guys think the base points for a free room is a night/trip? I know I’m at the low end and we don’t mind paying for our room this next go around but I’m just curious as I’m already planning our next trip in a few months. I know this question has been answered before but im too lazy to through previous threads. Thanks in advance.

The offer seems about right. 1250 points is about $3100 coin in if you did only slots. You’d probably need avoid double that to start seeing some mid week comp rooms. Also don’t forget to charge your meals and expenses to the room. You earn identity points that way which you can use later as comps.

Don’t play for comps as in the long run it’ll be cheaper to pay for a room.

I knew the offer was right I just didn’t know the points needed for regular comp rooms.

I totally understand on playing for fun and not for comps. This whole trip was self comped. We actually came out ahead with everything we did. I payed for everything with points from credit cards and with our free rooms. I don’t mind paying for a room at all I was just curious.

Results vary I'm sure, but I was able to get them to extend my offer a full month past when it expired to sync up with when I can make it out again.

Probably. Usually once or twice so long as you did book an offer or play in the meantime.

I *think* it's supposed to say you should get the same offer again once or twice, unless you book a offer or stop in to play. Playing again could change what they offer, potential losing what they offer depending on your play.

If you get offers in email from Cosmo, you'll usually get an email about every 8 weeks or so, and you'll normally get one shortly after a trip. The terms can change seasonally, my freeplay amounts bounce all over the place even though my play is consistent.

I think I may have seen someone say they stopped getting offers after a year of no activity, but I'm not 100% sure about that.

Typo. As long as you don’t play or book the offer in the meantime. About 6 weeks before the expiration you will likely get a new one.
