So back in April I stayed at V/P on my normal $150 free play $50 f/b. I went over to Wynn and enjoyed it, racked up about 5-6000 points, my first time on the property and got some restaurant credit while I was there. Never stayed there before so for my trip next weekend I didnt have any offers from them yet so I booked V/P again. Well today I got a letter in the mail for 3 comp nights with $400 Freeplay so I called em, booked it and canceled V/P just like that. Looking forward to giving Wynn a try! So it took me 4 months after play just to get an offer FYI.

Nice. I used that offer before. Just to let you know for offers after that their casino desk told me they expect 7k points a day to break even.

I got the same offer also after waiting several months. They must do a banding on the points needed for that particular offer level as I think I only had 3200 points from drop in play to trigger the same. Enjoy, hope you let us know how you enjoy Wynn compared to V/P!

that's a good teaser offer. Wynn is known to give decent teaser offers.
Used to be my home base, I usually had $300-400 free play, 2 show tickets,
2 buffets per day or some food credits.
But for long term, they are not very generous in comps, and their machines are tight, at least to me,
never got a hand pay there. In fact, I didn't remember seeing anyone near me got hand pay.

Funny story, a couple of years ago, I received an email from a marketing executive or the like,
saying " Dear Mr. xxx, we haven't seen you for a while. Recently we have sent you several offers,
but I noticed that you haven't taken on any of them. Could you please tell me the reason if you don't mind?"
I replied frankly "Yes, I did get emails from Wynn about reduced room rate of $79 per night.
You call that an offer? To me that's a big insult. Did you check what my offers used to be?".

So I just returned from our Vegas trip and I have to say that although Wynn is a very nice property, I will probably return to V/P next trip. Jejas is correct and my wife agreed that Wynn must have tighter holds on many of their machines. Playing anywhere from penny to $5 machines, I didn't have any decent wins and that kinda ruined the excitment of $400 in Freeplay. Anyway the room was nice and pool area as well. Restaurants are good but expensive and I liked that each one has vegan/vegetarian options. Overall I like Cosmo and Venetian better due to more fun and energy I feel.

Good to know and thanks for the feedback. I'd be giving up a few hundred from my current V/P offers to use this Wynn one so all feedback appreciated. We only did some drop in play and managed to get a great handpay there - so you just never know. I am finding it hard to leave the restaurant selection at V/P for Wynn just because there are so many more options. Hmmmm, not sure what I will book next!!!!

Thanks a bunch for the info. I too get those offers frequently - less free play for sure, but 3 nights comped. I had considered
it a few times - now reading your post - I am glad I didn't do it. Appreciate info like this for sure. If I venture that way again - I'll
just stick to Palazzo. I have really enjoyed the times I spent there.
