Had some crazy luck at Gem bar at Aria yesterday and this morning during various sessions. Between the two of us, we were up around $1800 for those sessions, wish all the sessions at the start of our trip were like this. Apparently we just shouldn’t play VP on the weekends. Lol.

NICE - I've had that carpaccio a couple of times and it's fantastic. Great pictures by the way!

Also had my best cows bonus ever and a great run on Boost. At the airport headed home now; good luck to the rest of the November travelers.

    We are alive

The flight out was quite bumpy, but we made it to Vegas about 10 minutes ahead of schedule. Grabbed our bags off the carousel and headed to the ride share pickup area, and it was the busiest I've ever seen! We waited over 25 min but finally, the car arrived. It was a quick ride over to RW, and we were dropped off right outside of the Conrad portion of hotel. Checkin went smooth... got a king room on the 9th floor.
    [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
    .
Lots of space for our stuff and very quiet. The view isn't bad either!
    [IMG][IMG]
    .
Unpacked a bit and then headed down to the slot floor. We settled in at Gatsby's Bar for a bevy + some Vp, but were soon told that they don't comp drinks for play. Wha?! Well, we went ahead and paid for a round (charged to the room since I have dining credit) and played a bit. Hey, I think I like this game!
    [IMG][IMG]
    .
The bartender then told us that the Center bar would comp drinks for play, so we got up and walked over there....

... we started playing Vp at the Center bar and went on quite a run!
    [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
    .
Those, plus a bunch of smaller quads, had us each heading to bed with a $500 profit on the night, woohoo!
    The bar is so pretty:
    .
We slept fitfully (the bed isn't the best, boo) but got some sleep. Showered + dressed + were downstairs to find breakfast around 9:45.
    .
We could've gone to the Kitchen or Suns Out Buns Out, but they were very crowded, and the Dawghouse serves brekky, so we chose that. It was edible, meh.
    .
Our hunger satiated, we were off to find more luck!

It's been a good gambol so far today! Didn't get picks of all our slot wins (just a few) but I managed to wash my $300 fp into $400 cash
    [IMG][IMG]
    .
And some time at the Center bar was even *more * profitable!!
    [IMG][IMG]
    .
We don't feel like going anywhere, so we cancelled our dinner ressie at Buddy Vs, and are back at the Dawghouse to see if dinner is any better than breakfast was
If nothing else, we get to watch the Cowboys beat the Giants!

Damn no drinks at all?!?! Last year they comped basic drinks (e.g. beer) but not their specialty drinks.

Way to pull that Ace kicker on Triple Triple! I think that's the first time I've seen that on a dealt TTB quad!

Well I totally failed at updating in here, but I'm sitting at the SkyClub in my (long) connection airport with a farewell glass of rosé in hand, so may as well do the photo dump and recap now.

First of all, I got to put a BUNCH of money back in the ATM. I had a really good gaming trip.

Cosmo service is still great. As someone who was worried about immediate MGM style changes, I have seen very few from my perspective. The service I have come to expect from the property is the same: high levels of customer service, engagement with the customer, appropriate staffing, and cleanliness. I had a wonderful driver this morning at 5am who was waiting outside the lobby ten minutes early. Perks like this will probably change for a player my level when MGM rewards swoops in, but there's still a whole lot of good in this place.

I did some play at a bunch of properties this trip too:

    - Wynn is still Wynn. Awesome service levels here, but it just doesn't feel like "home" to me.

    - Did quite a bit of play at Resorts World. This place grew on me after visiting this trip. Nice slot hits. Terrible cocktail service, but great comped wine at the center bar. I'm interested to see if I get any sort of offer out of them this time.

    - Planet Hollywood. Did my airfare credit conversion here and did so relatively successfully ($600 credit to $580). This place is clearly not being maintained well, but it at least has some sort of vibe. BTW, CET placing the casino cage with rewards is an awful cost cut. I'm going to book another burner room here for my airfare credit conversion again next year.

    - Caesars Palace. WTF do people see in this place? Bad vibes everywhere, bad slot selection. Went in to redeem an app offer ($25 free play with 25 tier credits) and regretted it. Planet Hollywood felt better than this place.

    - Circa. I like this place. It was pretty busy on Thanksgiving with football/world cup but the casino floor wasn't bad. Had some excellent hits on some machines, including two great ones in what I'm going to call the "Ainsworth corner" wedged awkwardly between a bar and entrance... and the only place on the casino floor I could find any Ainsworth machines. They had a great assortment of the licensed Aristocrat titles and their giant cabinets.

    Restaurants:

    - Blue Ribbon x 2 -- excellent as always, and their AMAZING pork chop is finally back on the menu.
    - Jaleo -- HAM.
    - China Poblano -- I always order too much here, but it's always good.
    - Scarpetta (sommelier was really friendly and let me try another type of one and then comped me a full glass of it). -- Short rib agnolotti. Every time. Excellent. Their service is reliably fantastic too. Got place at a fountain view table, amazingly.

    Bucket list slot hits:

    - Two bonus prizes on Billions. Heck yes. Now to go for all 3.
    - Full screen of chips on Live and Let Die led to a nice epic wheel spin.
    - Full screen of houses on OG Huff & Puff.
    - 42 free games on DaVinci Diamonds keno at Resorts World. Not a huge win, but it was fun as well.
