At the moment I have two offers listed...one available through August 31st, and a second offer available from September 1st through November 30th. Strangely, my September - November shows only free play and dining credit, with no mention of comped rooms. I checked with my host, and she confirmed that the offer does, in fact, include 3 comped nights. That said, you might want to touch base with your host to find out what you actually have available, just in case some of your offers aren't being displayed correctly when you log into your Identity account.

Received offer email 6/18 - valid from 6/18 to 8/31 - didn't use this offer
Received offer email 8/28 - valid from 9/1 to 11/30 - basically it's the exact same offer... same number of nights, FP, RC as prior offer

Just got my next offer by email today. Looks like since the CV19 reopening, they're using a more standard model of sending offers that are valid for 3 months.

    I'm seeing something like that.

Pre-shutdown, I used to get offers that had two codes each time, and each code you allow me to book up to a year out. And they'd send me a new set every two months.

Now they're getting broken into single codes that are good for consecutive windows (like one for now until January and another for Feb - June). It kind of looks like they're creating a new set each month, but I haven't really analyzed it. My offer list looks kind of crapped up and disorganized since the re-open, I have to look very closely to tell what's what.

With the closure, and our initial extension of offers that were existing there could be some confusing looking dates/windows on offers. It should clear up as we get through the various offers that were out there. Apologies for any confusion.
I'd think by November anything that was "extended" should be off of accounts and everyone should be back to a normal cadence. If you ever have a specific question, ask a host or ask me. Generally speaking, anything you're getting now (as opposed to anything that was valid prior to closure) is the accurate stuff, but we'd honor anything if there was a discrepancy.

Shoot, late correction that my post was referring to CET, not Cosmo. I didn't notice what thread I was in.

My Cosmo offers have been behaving normally, with an exception that I think KS mentioned, I had one that originally ran until late in the year and it got replaced by an offer with the same name and terms but expired end of July. And now I have a new one that runs until the end of the year.

And I've been doing a lot of re-booking over the summer including both tier nights and offers:
    • Moving from July to August
    • Then moving from August to next March
    • Then moving from March back to this October
And their phone agents have handled all the switches without any errors or confusion.

Just curious if anyone has recently had any issues with viewing the rate calendar associated with comp offers. I visited Cosmo a couple of weeks ago and logged into my Identity account this afternoon, and I was happy to see that a new 4 night comp offer had already posted to my account. However, when I click the "Yes Please" button, instead of seeing the usual rate calendar with $0 nightly rates, what appears to be a basic rack rate calendar comes up instead. I rarely have any blacked out dates (usually NYE is the only date that's ever blacked out), and I can always check with my host if I have any questions, but I'm curious if anyone else is noticing this issue as well.

I was hoping that my follow-up offer would be valid through late December, however this particular offer spans only about 2 months and is available from early October to early December. Usually my offers have spanned about 3 months in the past, so this offer is a little different...but I'm still thankful to have received it!

@YOleven ....same here. I have 3 different offers. Each with 4 comp nights, food cred, and free play. Yet, when I look at the calendars, each night has a rate. I know that isn't right. I reached out to my host and had her book. But, yes, something is off.

Thanks for checking! Out of curiosity, what is the spacing of your current offers? Does one offer pick up immediately where another ends, or is there some overlap? Although I currently have only one comp offer, I had two non-overlapping offers as recently as a couple of months ago, so it might just be a matter of time before another offer comes through for mid-December and beyond.

As you mentioned, when in doubt, check with your host. In the past when I've wanted to book a trip a little beyond my current offer, she's usually able to go ahead and book my dates anyway with the anticipation that the offer will eventually be extended or a new comp offer will come through eventually.

Cosmo uses TripClick for it's booking engine, which is an external software. It sounds like your offer code is not getting passed into the booking engine (or not "sticking") properly.

Another reason would be if you can't get nights comped, but if every date is showing a rate and you're sure you can get at least some nights comped, then it's probably just a bug.

The TripClick software allows you to enter a code manually, but I don't think Cosmo displays the offer codes for marketing offers so there's really no way to know what it is.

If there's ever any questions or doubts about Identity offers, valid dates, available room types, etc then simply call the identity desk booking phone number. (I usually call Mon-Fri during normal daytime business hours.) I book all my trips over the phone and don't even have my online account setup. Their phone reps are very nice and knowledgeable, and they pickup the phone very quickly. The first question they ask is "what dates are you interested in?" and from there figure out which offer(s) meet the date range. Really simple, really easy.

@YOleven I have an offer from July 30-October 7th; October 8th-November 4th; November 5th-December 2nd. My next trip is actually December 4th-8th. My host just booked and said she'd code it later.

I am having the same issue. Have four nights comped through January but the calendar is showing rack rate. I chatted online and was told they are having problems with their website and to call CS for reservations. I understand we can have website issues in any type of business, however this was over a month ago and still not fixed. Yes I can call and will, just sayin that’s a long time for a website to be broken.

@Cosmo_Slot_Vice_President or anyone else who knows if tiers are getting extended again with the Covid border crossing. I am wondering if my comp nights and companion nights will vanish. They show good until April 30th 2021 but Im not going until June so am hoping they extend them

At this time we don’t plan any additional changes to what was already done for tiers/points/status.
