    Swing by Apple Store at the Forum shops and have them recover if backed up. Get in some shopping while waiting for phone and should be good to go.

    If you backed up to iCloud (on my default) you really just need to re-enter your credentials on the new phone and it'll auto sync. You may need to be on wifi for your music/etc but your contacts/iMessage convos/etc should all come back automatically.

    That's crazy. Losing the phone is such a PIA. Hopefully it's got a passcode on it. And you can use Find my iPhone to track it down. Makes it worthless to steal them. And hopefully an iCloud backup will get her back up and running. Regardless -- that sucks!

    I once lost my phone ... on my second date with my wife. At a Bret Michaels concert. I am not making this up.

    She actually went to lost and found at Caesars yesterday and they showed her a freezer back with nearly 40 iPhones retrieved in the last 2 hours.

    I hope you make it back safely today and with lots of money!
