So I made Diamond status on my last visit in November. In the past few years I have been mostly at Platinum status with Caesars, sometimes just Gold. In those years past I have always had a good range of hotels to choose from with complimentary room offers from 3 to 5 days. These would sometimes include Caesars palace (3 days), with most of the other properties allowing a 5 night comp stay. Including even Cromwell sometimes. But from what seems like the moment Caesars sold themselves off I only now get a 5 nighter from Planet Hollywood and Rio. Not even Bally's will give me 5 comp nights and that's where I drop most of my money!

Know that daily average drives comped rooms and offers. Having said that, CET is like a chameleon, always changing. Sometimes offers, comped room availability cycle. There could be a large convention or other unknown factors that affect availability. Once almost every property was sold out on a Tuesday because of a cement convention.

When I don’t see comped nights for specific nights, I wait a few days to a week, clear cookies and try again.

Hmm I didn't clear cookies though. Anyway, even though my next locked in trip isn't until August. I am happy with Planet Hollywood, they have a bath tub and fridge, rooms are fine.I just thought that reaching Diamond may have given me a chance to stay at Caesars palace for my first time.

Keep trying. Rooms only at CP occasionally show comp for me.

Your last trip, you may have played a little less than usual. Or they may have slightly tightened comps. Usually it's lower play

In any case, if you are getting packaged offers with some amount of freeplay and resort credit, those will often specify "up to" a certain number of nights at the various hotels.

You may find that if you just use the regular availability calendar for Ballys, you can get 5 nights comped. But you'll have to bypass using the offer with the throw-ins.

They're willing to comp you a total of $X for a stay based on your play, and offer throw-ins are counted as part of that total.

It is a little weird to get a packaged offer that specifies you can get more nights at PH than Ballys.

If you play has been constant, this is where I find the VIP line or your host to be valuable. A good host should tell you why your not seeing offers (booked out, your last trip was too low, or even if they are fighting that period).

I tried booking a 2020 trip in the first half of 2019. My host told me he can’t get the better rooms till Jan 2020. The hotel doesn’t release that many suites for them to comp. we booked what we could with a plan to check in after the new year.

I’ve had the VIP line tell me to book what I can in offers or what shows Comp on the calendar without offers to hold a room just in case. Then when it gets 30-60 days out see if I have better offers to replace with. Those offers you see on the website have limits as to how many guests can use them at any give time.

I’d just call and ask “what is up” and “how can you make me come to a CET property verse Wynn? (or whoever you like)”

Worse case is wasting 10minutes on the phone.

Once you make diamond you should be assigned a host. You may not know this, most of the time they don't even bother to reach out to players, but it's extremely likely you actually have one assigned to you. Easiest way to find out is log into the CET app and it shows your host. If you have one, reach out to them. The hosts in Vegas have a lot more flexibility on bookings than the VIP line does. I can get Caesars comped this way when the calendar doesn't show it.

I have been Diamond 15 years now, they just took away my host, I had no idea and sure enough I looked and I no longer have a host at all? This year I have gambled the least amount in 15 years, I barely made Diamond. 15,443!

Yeah, this is probably the most likely reason. I remember that cement convention -- it's huge! This week was a mess because of a big Adobe convention at Aria/Bellagio; before that, it was the AWS convention. I'd recommend calling, and also check the convention calendar to see if there's something specific going on.

Speaking of hosts, a lady host at the Cromwell approached me when I was playing a machine and introduced herself. I was a bit startled and I think she misinterpreted that as I didn't want to be disturbed, which wasn't the case at all, I just have never been approached by a host before! Anyway she kind of apologized for disturbing me and went away.... but this is my only ever interaction with a live host in the flesh, brief as it was. Perhaps if she had talked longer I may have been able to ask about comp rooms at the Cromwell.... but having stayed there in 2018 I wasn't that impressed, I prefer Bally's.

I am still fairly new at Caesars Properties but a host was introduced to me by a friend and I received my Diamond status via status match from Mlife. Like mentioned by some already, you probably want to reach out and get a host. My first trip in July was 3 nights, host comped 2 and I paid for one. My second trip in October, host comped 3 nights for Julius King and was upgrade to Octavius at check in. I just booked another trip for January and was comped for 3 nights at Octavius. The host even called me during my trip in October and text me after my trip. My host is based at the Line but I only want to stay at Caesars Palace so he does all the bookings for me and get me some freeplays when he can. I don't gamble a lot a lot but my play is quite consistent.

If you play in the high limit slots, typically a host on duty will say “hi”. It’s an easy why for the to build their book up. Another option on sight is to speak with the host on duty, and if you hit it off just ask them to be your host.

If you don’t want to wait till your next trip, you can call the Hotline and just tell them you want a host at Bally’s.

Just FYI: If you are unassigned in Vegas and meet a host in Vegas at a different CET property you can still use them. Vegas is one big super market. They can book/comp you at any other CET Vegas property. Even book you in other regions if you know the ropes on it.

    The answer is simple-usually.

Offers are tied to play, not tier. Some gold level players get better offers than 7 Stars. All based on AVERAGE PLAY.

You would have to talk or call a host. I have found it takes 3-6 months for the offers to make sense based on play. I'm barely a diamond level 1 as well and my offers max at $225 FP. Diamond helps with the resort fees. I have found it's better to pay a casino rate on some nights and not play on the card that day. I try to do 1000 Tier per day of stay unless the starts align and I can get to 2500 to maximize bonus tier credits. Hope that helps.

Exactly. At Mlife, I'm Platinum but get almost no offers, because my status comes primarily from spend. Card color gets you certain perks on-property, but offers are based on play.

what perks do our cards actually give us on property? I can only think of free parking?

Skipping the taxi lines helps a lot, and there are some minor discounts on things like retail or the spa (something like 10%, nothing huge but a few extra bucks in my pocket certainly doesn't hurt). That's about it though. Definitely nothing worth chasing card color for.
