Hope you were able to utilize it. I too get intimidated by Wynn. Even their cocktail waitress look like they only wear Prada. Wynn does have the nicest room with most comfortable mattress. And best slot floor cocktail.

Do you mind sharing what your average coin in per day is to sustain those comps? I am curious, along with board members to figure out what the back of the napkin theoretical would be or how much play is required to cover that level of comps. Basically it would be helpful to know your daily total coin in (or points), average bet, and gambling hours to figure out the Wynn comp on theoretical losses.

The trip where I did 3 nights and earned 70,000 points I probably averaged 5 hours a day playing and my guess would be average bet per spin in the $30 range...something close to that.

Hello,, hope some of you Red Card members can answer my questions:

    • Will they substitute the free buffets with some other restaurants? I don't think I want to eat buffet everyday.
    • When they waive the resort fee for the comp room, will the wifi be comp too, or do you have to pay for it. I guess they will comp it if you gamble enough. but how much do you have to gamble to get the wifi comp if it is not comp up front?
    Thanks for your help!

I’d pay for WiFi rather than even worry about it being comped. It’s nothing in comparison to what you have to gamble for backend charges to be removed. If you aren’t being charged resort fees, then yes you have to pay for WiFi. Hope that helps. Oh, they won’t substitute the buffet for a restaurant.

Thank you Hoofy7 for your reply. I guess we have to either pay for the wifi or use the limited data I have on my phone. Too bad that they won't substitute the buffet, I guess we can eat both their breakfast buffet and dinner buffet during the 3 days so at least we can have different food.

    TR888,

Their buffet is one of the best. We are headed back 6 years from our last visit. Our offer was 3 comped nights, dinner buffets for all 3 nights. We had the option of either resort, so we decided to stay at the Wynn.

Looking forward to the luxury of being there again :)

Not sure if you get points for table games so I'll ask: any BJ/Craps players have any input here? When Boston Encore opens that'll be a much closer option for us so I plan on seeding Wynn this coming June with 4+ hours. Would be playing $100 blackjack, wouldn't expect more than a basic room comp, but that's all I need.

Yes. Craps starts to get noticed at 250 a roll for 4-5 hrs a day, although they also notice 100. Not sure if odds are counted in that. But Wynncore is easier than a lot of people think.

I’ve always been treated well at Wynncore.

The craps has some unfavorable bets though.

If you have some sort of verified play, I’d try to reach out to Pucci if you decide to go. And that’s the guy you should get to like you.
