Looking for recommendations for dining options at Resorts World. We had thought we would try Carver Steak, but not sure based on the mixed reviews. Has anyone tried it recently? What about Wally’s or Viva or Brezza?

We’ve had one awful meal and one fantastic meal at Carver Steak. The fantastic meal was more recent than the awful one. We enjoyed Brezza very much. I find the food at Wally’s uninspiring.

I think Wallys is fantastic. Of course, they serve the best cheese on the planet, which is not easy to find in Vegas. So I am biased toward them because of that. Brezza is decent too, but I prefer Wallys

Had excellent meals at Carversteak both times we went and Aqua is fantastic as well (last time there was end of January). We are going to both again as well as Alle 66 next weekend. I need to convince my husband to try Crossroads as the reviews are great

Carversteak- past Sept and last month- very good.

I also like Viva, Wally's, Kusa Nori and Alle 66. If you don't eat at Allie's, try to go for a drink....outstanding atmosphere! Limited menu but very good quality.

Glad you mentioned the cheese....what is the cheese you said was a favorite of yours that they carry?

Brillat savarin. Its a triple cream brie from a specific region of France.

    Thanks
I found it at Whole Foods today and passed because the last sale date was 4/1. I don't know if it mattered; I am not familiar with it, so was hesitant.
    It was $12/7oz.

I have had that WF version a few times. Its ok and better than a lot of big chain grocery store cheese offerings. But there is much better out there. My partner ordered me a larger wheel of it from a specialty store in NY once for my bday and it was excellent. I have also found that its better when the wheel has been cut and the cheese has been exposed to the air for a while. I'm sure someone that knows more about cheese than I do can explain why that is, but I always find that cheese better after it has been cut for at least a day

Wife and I loved viva. The margarita flight, chips and guac, and tuna torta appetizer were amazing. Would highly recommend.

Juniors just opened there recently. We're familiar in this part of the world with them - they are at Foxwoods and from NYC. If you are looking for a high end food experience it's not that - but if you are looking for a solid dinner and an excellent piece of cake or pie, you could do worse.
