Righty - March Madness - 3/17/17 to 3/20/17

    Hey everyone. First TR here, but have done a few previously.

    Heading out from the east coast tomorrow morning, and contrary to previous trips, Mrs. Righty is coming as well! We're both pretty excited about that, since we have an 18 month old and don't get many chances for non-baby vacations.

    For those that have read my other TRs, you know that poker is a big part of my gambling (though, is it really gambling? ) This will be a bit different, as it's tough to sell the wife on a 12 hour poker session when we're only there for 3 days. That being said, if there is a good 80/160 or higher game going at Bellagio, I'll be making some type of appearance!

    Hotel Plans
    - staying at Cosmo and have a fountain view terrace suite. Moved most of my Vegas play here, since the rooms are great and like the HL/Talon sections.
    - also have a room at aria for some FnB credits.

    Gambling Plans
    - Poker: limited, as I mentioned, but will be monitoring the Bravo app intently.
    - Sports Betting: historically, I always bet every ML underdog in the first round. Usually profitable and fun way to watch the games. However, not getting there until later morning tomorrow, so will just pick and choose a few games.
    - Blackjack: best game ever or worst thing ever invented. It's always one of the other and never in between. Will be playing BJ a majority of the time, so let's run hot!
    - Drinking: a lot, as the wife and I don't get this opportunity often. May introduce her to the Verbena. Also, looking for the best Bloody Mary's in Vegas, so let me know of any recommendations.
    - Food: no plans tomorrow, but may go to yellowtail Saturday night (never been, and I'm sure there are better options). SW Sunday night before checking out La Reve.

    And lastly, Chip Porn: Goal is to have some to share!!

    I've found the Bloody Mary's at the Chandelier Bar to be more than passable.

    I second @NickPappageorgio on the recommendation for solid Bloody Marys available at the Chandelier Bar! Frankly, the version they serve on the main casino floor at Cosmo is surprisingly good - at least to my taste - since I believe they still use the house-made mix for those as well.

    I may be wrong on the name, but I think it's called The Park on Fremont. They have amazing Bloody Mary's with a pickled egg and nice thick cut bacon garnish. Ask for it spicy! I haven't had it in over a year but it's excellent.

    Thanks everyone. T-minus 8 hours until our flight, so getting close!

    Sounds like I may be in luck with the Cosmo Bloody Mary's...appreciate the feedback. Don't think we'll be making it to Fremont, @Hoofy7, but maybe next time.

    It's kind of cheating, but might as well get the chip porn started with some pics from this month at my semi-local casino (MGM National Harbor). Hope to be able to recreate some of this!!

    Limit chip towers...now that's something I never tried...I know my clumsy ass would knock them over! :oops: Surprised MGM Nat'l Harbor made $20 chips too! Hope you can replicate at Bellagio!

    Lol. Yeah, it's always fun to see how high you can go!
    I think the poker room manager wanted us to move the limit game from Maryland Live to MGM, so $20 chips helped make that happen (instead of playing 50/100 or 75/100 at Live with no $20 chips).

    Doubt I'll be playing too much poker this trip, but you never know. Usually do a solo wsop where I can play all day, every day.
