Here's something I ran across and thought that there are some here who would like to see/hear it.

It's nice to hear the stuff you "know" to be laid out so clearly.

I'd love to hear him go a few more layers into the onion.

I always wonder about the bonus. When the RNG triggers the bonus, is it triggering a total win value at that time and the bonus is all just for show - or is it truly just triggering the bonus and the RNG determines the results of the bonus as each spin proceeds?

If I'm playing the old Quick Hits at max bet of $1.50, and I hit the bonus and then select the worst amount of games (5 at 2X), like I just did the other day, does my payout really change if I had hit 20 at 3X, or was I going to get 25 bucks either way?

I suspect the answer may be different for different machines and different bonuses.

In Nevada, either way is legal. So, yeah, it depends.

From what I have read though, I think most game designers in jurisdictions that allow "Vegas Style" (aka Class III style) games use separate RNG calls for things like free spin bonuses. The programming is easier that way.

I usually ALWAYS pick the lowest character in the "Where's the Gold" slot machine. Wondered if it really mattered which character I picked because the machine was going to pay what it was going to pay anyway.

I don't care if it's true or not, it's what I tell myself anyway. I'm not letting them mess with my head anymore than I have to. Whatever happens was supposed to and I'm starting to really rebel against 'almosts.' When a machine does it too much I move. Maybe it will catch on
