Took a Lyft from Wynn to Bellagio to see the fall display. Although India is not a theme I am too excited about, the display was really cool.

Afterwards we walked over to the Park and had a drink at Beerhaus. Found some great German beer. Augustiner is from Munich and one of my favorites.

Afterwards M&M world and back to Bally’s. Although we planned to wait until midnight to celebrate our friend’s birthday, the jetlag hit all of us and we went to bed around 11pm. Didn’t take 5 minutes until I was asleep.

At 7am we woke up and decided to gamble. But first I packed my suitcase and after a shower we decided on the place to gamble. Actually easy choice, the Cosmo. There are my ATMs, can create some coin in and va bene has the best grilled cheese sandwich.

We gambled 2-3 hours and left down $100. That’s a success, especially since the coin-in was over 2k

Birthday lunch was at Cheesecake Factory. We always enjoy the food there. This time it took quite long and therefore they took the 2 cheesecakes off the bill.

Then we rushed back to Bally’s to put the last few things in my suitcase. It was already 1.30pm and I had to get gas and return the rental car, get to the airport and drop off the luggage.

Despite heavy traffic (strip already closed), I managed to do all that including security check until 2.15pm. Now in the lounge and wait for boarding.

I guess that’s a wrap. Maybe I add some pics from the half when I receive them.

Next trip is already booked. Will be in Vegas 4/3-4/12 next year. Then for 9 nights. The last two trips were too short (5 and 3 nights) for the long flight.

Now 2.5 weeks in the office, then 2 weeks Florida and Bahamas. Maybe I’ll make a trip report as well.

    Thanks for following along.

Remembered the airport slots were a success in a few of the last reports. $20 became $43 in in a few minutes. Leaving with a good feeling.

Total numbers will follow from Home.

Nice report! And I agree with you on buffets. We all can't eat like @cstutor89. lol But if you're going to eat one, Wynn is a great choice.

Made it home safely and back at work. It was really nice meeting you and Happy belated Birthday. With all the travelling I totally forgot to write on Sunday. Hope you had a great day, but I will see it when I catch up with your TR.

Looking at the first post I can say we managed to do almost everything. We didn't go to Peppermill (will do that in April) and we didn't party Saturday night into our friend's birthday.

Leaving Vegas is always the hardest part and seeing the picture from the RnR half afterwards made it worse, but overall I am still very happy with the trip and really enjoyed it. Would I do such a short trip again? Definitely, if the flights are not too expensive, but I also need a longer trip first, which will be the case in April.

I also want to run the RnR half some time in the future and since we don't have plans for end of 2020, we might be back for it again. It will be pretty spontaneous since we already have planned some trips (April: Vegas, April/May: business trip to Singapore and a few days relaxing at Bangkok, June/July: NYC wifey's business trip with a roadtrip afterwards, August: Mexico).

    The gambling part:

    Poker $448.00
    Craps $-380.00
    Slots Cosmo $-477.91 (Coin-In 5.6k)
    Slots Bally's $-200.00 (probably around $700-1000)
    Slots Airport $23.00

    Overall: $-586.91

    - The loss is ok. I brought money back home. That's a win.
    - Pretty happy with the Poker results
    - Craps was a total disaster. I didn't play longer than 15 minutes overall.
    - Slots at Bally's were not good (results and slot variety), but I got at least some play in.
    - I am very happy with the slots at Cosmo. My overall loss is around 8.5%. Taking into consideration that the first $300 were gone with a coin-in of only approximately $430, I was running above average from the second session onwards (loss rate appr. 3.4%).

Sneak Preview for April 2020 (might slightly change until April):
    When: 4/3-4/12
    Where:
Cosmo (4/3-4/6 comped + Sterling night)
    Wynn (4/5-4/12 booked thorugh App)
Delano (comped 4/4-4/8) ACM events and trying Mandalay Bay Pools but will not stay there; Have F&B and freeplay and with the stay we can use MyVegas rewards
    Gambling: total budget $4k-$5k;
Cosmo: $2k-3k for first 3 nights exclusively for slots; should create some play and enteratin us; try to reach GOLD status
Wynn: some slots (depending on Cosmo results) and focus on Poker.
Delano: will give MLife some play, not sure yet to what extend.
    Activities:
Cosmo: pool time every day and some fitness
Wynn: trips to Red Rock Canyon (maybe hiking there) and Valley of fire
    MGM: CdS shows through MyVegas
ACM events (not the award show itself), VGK if they make it to the playoffs, Stoney's, head Downtown at night, Pinball HoF,
Hopefully meet some fellow Vegas Fanatics
Food: The Henry, Holstein's, Ra Sushi, Wynn Buffet (App), Giordanos (?), Pizza Rock (?), 1-2 restaurants off strip

Now that's a wrap. Thanks again for following along. Hope you enjoyed the TR and it shortened the waiting time for your next trip.

    See you next time

Thanks for all the pics and the gambling update. For whatever reason wins/losses/ and gambling budgets are always of interest to me. Probably because I am a degen. Congrats on the marathon!

The secret to our love and happy marriage :tearsofjoy:. Honestly it sounds worse than it is. It is just a 2.5h-3h drive or 25minute flight (plus 45 minutes train to the airport). It's not the perfect situation, but we make it work. That's also why we enjoy travelling so much as our quality time.
