Went to Vegas a couple weeks ago, and they've effectively killed roulette. MGM removed the only European table they had on the main floor & replaced it with the crappy 3 zeros. Table minimums are $25 and max bets are $500. RIDICULOUS. Went over to the Palazzo since my friend was getting comped there. Same shitty deal. All roulette tables are now triple zero, $25 min and $500 max. Electronic roulette still has the 0/00 with higher limits so that's where I'll be spending my time from now on. Really disappointing.

Saw some 0/00 wheels downtown, I didn't pay attention to the roulette tables on the strip really, it's always ridiculous there.

$500 is a lame cap on a $25 table. Sucks when they juice their odds and then hand cuff your betting flexibility.

A few months ago while in a road trip stopped for a driving break at this casino that was closer to a glorified truck-stop. They had 1 blackjack table that was $15min $100max. I made a comment and they said it’s normally $50max. Got a can of Dr Pepper and kept on going.

For MGM properties, $500 max is for a number straight up
    Outside 1:1 bets are $10k
    The 2:1 bets are ... $5k?

I do wish they would allow $1k inside at more tables. Sometimes they can call (who are they calling?) and get permission to allow higher bets
