  Day 2 Thursday Dec 21, 2023 and I slept surprisingly well for a first night, although my dreams were wacko. I woke at 5:00 am and waved it off. Called for a sleeper pitch and managed to doze till 7:00 am.

  Day 3 Friday Dec 22, 2023 and it's moving day out of Luxor and down to The Cal.I had a solid 6 hours sleep and woke feeling refreshed. It's always better after the travel achies are gone.

  Day 3 Part 2 Friday Dec 22, 2023 and once again it is raining in the desert. I hope it will rain quads.Just about every time I come to Vegas these days, at some point, it rains. It's a desert. It's not supposed to rain.

  Day 4 Saturday Dec 23 and I had a pretty good night at the Cal. I'm on a low floor but I wasn't bothered by any traffic noise.Quite often there are sirens to be heard roaring down Main Street.

  Day 5 Sunday Dec 24th and somehow, about halfway through the trip, I'm only down a few bucks.Seems I keep losing it on video poker and slots and winning it back on video keno - although I have had a few nice hits on the VP.
  

 

I did try to find it once, it is guest rooms now. The Fremont twitter account some years ago responded to me with a photo from the inside of the Sky Room.

  Day 6 Mon Dec 25th 2023 and it was finally Christmas morning and I could see what shirt Divana got me.But first, my Christmas socks a la Mr. Bean. My niece La Mondo gave these to me as - you guessed it - a Christmas gift long ago.

  Day 7 Tuesday Dec 26, 2023 and I'm enjoying Wynn as always, even though there's precious little video poker to play.Not sure why, maybe it's the various pillows that are different from what I'm used to, but I've woken up with a headache each and every morning.
  

 

LOL it's worth a walk-through, I suppose, a gawk-worthy 20 minutes or so.

  Day 8 Part 1 Wednesday Dec 27, 2023 and I've done so well this trip, I'm almost afraid to play and lose a bunch in the last 2 days!I enjoyed Terrace Pointe Cafe so much for breakfast that I planned a return engagement this morning.
