      Day 5 Sunday Sept 8, 2024I'm starting to get worried about this trip. The first three days, I sailed through thanks to some decent wins that put me up on the trip. Yesterday I had a nickel quad, and a quarter quad for $62. 50 and that's it.

      Turning Point - The Quad King
      10 September 2024
      Day 6 Monday Sept 8, 2024Being up $24 with a couple of days of casino money-stirring to go, I knew today would be important - probably the turning point for the trip. I needed to win, or if losing, shut it down if I were to keep my $600 budget.

    Wow awesome run with the quads! Especially at QQQQ!

    You were right to not hold the kicker, but since it's a progressive machine and AWAK was decently high, it's probably closer than you thought.

    This is what it looked like with the current progressive values.

    Now if the AWAK value was the same but the Aces were a flat $200, then it would have been better to hold the kicker.

    Also, the end of your post has a brief win loss summary from the day before I think. At least I hope you didn't lose $220 on the day after all those quads!

      A Good Snag

      Day 7 Tuesday Sept 10, 2024I woke just before dawn and watched the sun come up over the smoke-shrouded mountains. After yesterday's quad-fest, I almost wished I was going home today. I feel pretty satisfied with how this trip has gone.

    Your takeaway from this trip kind of feels like my takeaway from Vegas lately.

    The Strip.....es no bueno.

    Great reads though. Still waiting for my shipment of Associate Cheap Magnificent Bastard ID cards however. Congrats on the winning trip, and without creative accounting. Those are rare in Vegas lately.
