Yeah PA tollbooths have been unmanned ever since the pandemic started. And became permanent in Summer 2020 iirc.

Illinois has been this way as well, but they didn't officially make the decision to make it permanently unmanned until this year.

Poor Tollbooth Willie.

Thanks Flusher. I look forward to these little pick me ups.
You have an incredible talent for making the boring seem mundane. Maybe that isn't the right word.
But, I feeling very gloomy. This is the time I'm in Vegas every year. And I'm not, again.

 

We stayed at the Mariott next to Pearson before our last trip a couple weeks ago because they advertised a full hot buffet breakfast. But apparently the risks are too great to let people choose their own food & quantity of food, so they were handing out pre-packaged lunch bags with eggs, sausage, a muffin, potatoes, an orange, and yogurt. Except that my bag didn't have eggs or sausage and her bag didn't have potatoes. And we didn't have enough time to go back down and wait in line (that's somehow safer!) to complain.

If I had to guess, since they were handing out the food for people to eat in their room instead of allowing people to eat in the lobby they were by-passing the vaccine passport requirement that currently exists for Ontario restaurants. But still...
