Ducking into this thread for a minute to make a comment:

A "shopping/appearance tips" thread for guys would be the shortest.thread.ever.

Nick, that is so not true. If I started a thread using words like "Breitling", "Omega" and "Patek Philippe" and put in some shiny wrist pics, I bet I could rival this one.

Well, the makeup artist for my wedding says lots of men airbrush makeup.. so there's that haha. And when I am running around the casinos I see plenty of men who I am sure spent more time getting ready than i did. I do have a tendency to run downstairs in the sweatpants etc I wore to bed for my morning smoke, lose track of time on the slots and spend the day wandering around like that. I seem to win when I am not 'dressed'.

This thread is making the Vegas itch worse. UGH. There is a power bingo at the end of Nov at Gold Coast etc and I just got a decent Cosmo offer yesterday.. sooo tempting!!

Well, I suspect this thread could cost me more than any gaming I do, haha!!

Out running errands and had to go right past Sephora. Needed an under eye concealer, they recommended this one by Laura Mercier. Couldn't walk past the primer, so picked it up too! The lipgloss was 100 points and got the Myra's as a sample! Will let you know how it goes!

@uclagirl Feel your pain on missing that, wow! Hope you are feeling better! In Sephora they had all her products front and centre so will be interested to find out what you think of them!

I'm heading to ULTA to see if I can find some products mentioned. Is a BB cream like a foundation? Which would you recommend for good coverage but yet light feel. As that's why I don't wear foundation. It feels heavy. I stocked up on more of my Seacret supplies. I'll put it in my hand in a small area to show you an example so you can see for yourself how amazing it is.

Have you tried shape tape from tarte? It's a concealer and everyone in the makeup YouTube community loves it. Only available on tarte website or at ulta tho.

Yes it's like foundation but it has anti-aging benefits amongst others. But it doesn't last as long as foundation and I found myself having to touch up often. I only use it on days when I know ill be out for 2-3 hours. I use the stick foundation from makeup forever and it's super light and long wearing.

I use the Tarte shape tape and find it covers and blends well when using a damp beauty blender sponge. Doesn't crease.

I'll have to try that one f it helps with circles. Saw this video on YOUTUBE to reduce under eye bags and puffiness-Nivea skin firming & smoothing concentrated serum. Around $13-14 on Amazon so I thought "what the heck." I've been using it twice a day for almost 2 months and I can't believe the difference. Smooths fine lines and no bags! So now I'm using on other areas I want to smooth & tighten-jaw line, neck, upper arms. Pretty soon I'll be bathing with it-lol! It has Q10 & L-Carnitine.

Haven't tried the body lotion. My dematogist recommended Amlactin Rapid Relief. It's a bit greasy so I only use it at night before bed, but in the morning my skin in smooth and soft.

In the US Sephora carries the Tarte maracuja concealer just not the shape tape which is exclusive to Ulta
