Southwest out of Milwaukee

The Southwest flights from Detroit changed too. Lots of days without a nonstop flight to Vegas and prices higher than before. And when I do book anyways, they change my flight to something with two connections on the way home. It’s gotten worse since the 800 MAX thing

I’m starting to get used to Spirit.

 

When are you looking? I looked in May and they have 3 a day going out non stop.

 

I wonder whats the deal.

 

I just took a look and see about the usual number - 13 heading to LV and 12 coining back. These were on the dates I'm flying in April. When were you looking?

 

Yea I have noticed SW out of MKE have changed, I have even looked at flying out of midway on SW cause of the more options

 

Yea, I am in Kenosha and can’t see myself driving to Midway

 

Some days I can go can make it door to door in about 50 minutes. Other days I'll sit on 55 for 50 minutes. Traveling to either Chicago airport is always an adventure lol

 

I’m flying out of O’hare next Sunday to get to Las Vegas, hopefully the drive is uneventful with it being a Sunday

 

Sunday and Saturdays are definitely the easiest drive days.

 

Yes I have noticed the same changes. Matter of fact we had flights booked in June ( early morning direct flight) until .... they sent us a notice that they changed our flights. Took the nonstop out completely that morning and now we have a layover in Phoenix and get there 2 hrs later. I at first thought the Max issue was to blame but that’s been going on now for just about a year and these changes have just suddenly started. Also noticed that almost all their fare sales only seem to apply to non stops. Just weird

 

I’ve noticed they have fewer non stops and very few $59 fares out of Phoenix.

 

Yes And I feel like it’s really changed in the last 6-8 weeks. Shame cuz I actually really like SW.
