Spring trip to Luxor and Flamingo 4/8-4/14

    Ron flys out to Vegas tonight via Frontier. I don’t join him until Wednesday, but he’ll send me pics and updates. I’ll miss him, but excited that he can be there for a whole week!

    He’s going out early because Luxor invited him to their Spring Fling tournament. It’s like the one he did in January, the free play amounts are all mixed up. You could place 150th and win more free play than 10th place. Makes it interesting.

    So Luxor for 3 nights and then Flamingo for 3 nights. I was hoping for pool time, but a cool front comes they later this week, so not sure. But the weather should be beautiful regardless. So glad to get out of the cold Spring so many of us have been having!

    Not too many plans. Dinner at Luxor’s Tender one night using a MyVEGAS comp and going downtown one day.

    I was just thinking that April and Ron should have another trip coming up soon... and then I see this post today!

    Lol! We have been going a lot! After this one, it will be a few months. Next trip July 3rd. Our daughter is due to have a baby girl in 4 weeks (her first), so I want to be around to help. So excited!

    He’s in the air, plane took off on time! The pilot said 4-1/2 hour flight which is 30 minutes longer than normal. Must be a heck of a current up there.

    Ron and I have been married 24 years, but our kids are from our 1st marriages. So his son has a 5yr old and 3yr old. They are our first grandchildren. This little girl will be our 3rd, but my first from my own daughter.

    He did so well before I joined him on his last Luxor tourney trip. I can’t imagine that will happen again! I wouldn’t complain though!

    We are in a similar situation. I have two daughters from my “practice marriage” and 5 grandkids from them. Mrs MN and I have 3 grown kids none of which are married or have kids. I was a grampa at 45.
