    Three tournaments; three payouts

A $200,000 field of riches is yours for the taking. With a $3,000 buy-in and complimentary accommodations, you are sure to fall into a share of $100,000 cash!

Takes place November 9-10, 2018. Paper mailer arrived today and got the email a couple days ago. Sounds like fun. Three tournaments sounds interesting; not sure how many rounds are in each tournament. Anyone going? I can't but wish I could....

I didn't get the invite for this one, but I'd be tempted to do it too. I'll be out there 2 weeks before this event so no way I could go almost back to back like that.

This one doesn't seem like a great deal top prize is 25k/ round so if you happened to win all 3 that's 75k only 25x buy in, the identity play rewards can be multiplied if you gamble 100k+points for 3k buy in this better be filet mignon and Champaign available constantly lol

It’s a different tournament structure for sure. But the prizes are based on 55 people. Where else is the casino do you have a 1 in 55 chance of winning $25000? No where... Smaller top prizes are a side effect of fewer players but then your odds are better at winning.

If they included at least f&b on the offer I probably would be more inclined but I have horrible luck in tournaments lol the 3 shots at 25 is nice only have to win 1 to make profitable but just a lot up front money is all

Cosmo (and Aria) typically serve food and have open bars in the tournament area. And the food is really good. I remember at the Mlife Invitational last year, Aria virtually served a Thanksgiving feast—turkey, beef, and all the sides. I don’t know what Cosmo will do for this one but I’m guessing that a $3000 buy in will have good eats and drinks. I find that tournaments which don’t offer food tend to give F&B credit. I think it’s a wash either way dollar wise. Only difference is the former doesn’t allow you to eat where you want.

Tournament is about half sold out now.

In my opinion, the math is great for the player... if you're thinking about participating, just contact your host to book!

I'm curious do you have to be a certain level of player to be allowed to book this? This is the first year I've had a host but I have never received any invites or information about your slot tournaments. I assumed it is because I just don't qualify for these types of things.

I would say there are definitely qualifications for all the events at Cosmo including tournaments. They have to draw the line somewhere in order to send out invites to those above the line. In the event they don’t reach capacity then they may lower line in order to fill it up. You could always ask your host if you qualify. But I would think if you’re the type of person willing to spend $3000 on a tournament then you’re likely someone who would qualify. I mean $3K is a lot of cash.

I got the invite and would participate if I could get out there for a few days in November. One more year and an empty nest opens the travel calendar up tremendously!
