The Epic Friends of VF Sept 2016 Vegas Tag Team Trip Report!!!!

So lots of you know / met me. Had a hard time live tr'ing so gonna do a recap here and maybe fill in some blanks.

My trip was literally a one day jaunt within another vacation. I was in Denver visiting family prior.



Toured the mountains and went atving in the arapaho forest.



But this is a Vegas forum. So i arrived Saturday afternoon from Denver. Terminal 3 on frontier...which was weird for me.. totally different vibe at the airport.



Hopped in the limo and checked into CP. Stepped into HL to set up my credit line and found Gamesman BS and Shirley. Blackjack happened.



I got cardz for dayz.



Fist bump the dealer for luck



Was a great time. And i ended up money! Only about 450 but I'll take it.

DV it was great to see you. We should have gone ATV riding Sunday. Would have saved me donking money at MGM but I did get it back at the Trop.


One of these trips we need to do the ATV ride.

Had a blast seeing you and all the others.

 

Wow! @dutchvelvet those photos of the Arapaho Forest and mountains are beautiful! I love to go ATVing! We all have one we ride all over the place here in NY. Our local Vegas friends go off roading and mountain climbing there all the time and we made plans to go next trip. Apparently it's a good day if everyone's jeeps make it off the mountain not on a flat bed. Lol Maybe we should all plan to do this as a group? Throw in some fishing a day and gambling at night and I'd have my perfect vacation! @pphold next time our trips line up, I'd love to go! We can always gamble when we get back to our hotels! Just think of the money we'd save! Lol

Funny thing, I was playing VP on the floor at Wynn Saturday morning and ordered a Peach Ciroc and Soda. Waitress comes back and I wasn't really paying attention as she told me what the drink was, but it did sound a little odd.

I take a sip of it and she had actually brought me Peach Schnapps and Soda lol. I drank it though.

What a super fantastic trip this was! I had an amazing time & absolutely enjoyed meeting new friends and spending time with old friends. I, like so many others, want to thank @VegasChic & @VegasMonkey for their outstanding Hosting & organization of this Mega-Event
I am sorry I am tardy in my post and thanks to all involved in making this trip so fun but as soon as I hit home I was off on another business trip...finally heading home YAY
I am really looking forward to our next get together...You are All AMAZING, FUN, GENUINE DEGENS...and I mean that in the nicest way ❤️

Glad you got your cell phone returned. I agree that only losing 3k on a 6 night trip is good, way to go! Was a pleasure to finally meet you in person and your husband too!

 

That actually sounds interesting...regular Dr. P for me though.

I loved meeting Hoofy7 also. She is nothing I expected as she is tiny but she does have great stories. Thanks to Vegas monkey and Vegas chic (I missed out on ketchup chips so disappointing). Nice job. And dirty Shirley terrific job with the capes. Loved meeting you and BS. And seeing beejay, Irish daves wife Evoni, boots lots of joker pals. Packer and lots more. It was a fun time even without alcohol

 

It was a pleasure to meet you as well Luckylinda! Thanks for keeping me company in HL room. I'm curious though...what did you expect me to be like? Bwahahaha!

You were what I pictured you'd be like..........except quieter. I get that though......I'm the same way.

@Hoofy7 you talked the entire time I was with you. Interesting tales of your life, friends, family, pets. I was surprised you were not taller, lots taller that's all.

@BeeeJay i was playing in ballys at the back bar one night few years ago and heard a loud ruckus. Immediately thought beeejay and crew are here. Went and checked and yes you were in HL playing video poker.

great idea, i'll put it on my 2017 calendar now - we would love to attend more events next year for sure, hopefully they will be before our bedtime (10pm in vegas, surprisingly, beat the hell out of us both nights )
