Are the “big event” Great and powerful oz community slot machines gone forever? I loved playing it and they slowly disappeared from all casinos. Last year in February we were there and the Flamingo still had it but I hear that is gone too. Any idea if these are anywhere else in Vegas. Bummer.

Yes! 3 reel. Where the random community “big event” would hit and the whole group played the bonus if eligible. That was also our first favorite and they slowly started disappearing... Darn, I figured they were gone forever once I heard the flamingo one was gone. That was the last I knew of. Time to find another fun one to replace it for us.

Yes, the ones at Flamingo really are gone. I haven’t seen them anywhere else. They were fun!

I am sad. We used to play these on our girls only trips. We seem to be able to play a while on them.

Same! It was my go to and could last a decent amount of time on them. I would always hit on them as well. When I’m there in February I’ll have to search for a new favorite lol

Yes!! That’s the one. The very first time I played it a few years back I had no idea what was happening when the big event was triggered but I knew it was something good. I could sit there a good amount of time and either break even or leave up. It was a must every trip since. Thanks for the video, love it.

That was my favourite machine for several years but now that it's gone the closest match in communal game experience would be Aruze's Big Game Fishing. Speaking of Aruze I quite like their machines. Although you can lose for ages before getting a feature I find Aruze's features to be fun and unique.

Yes it was my fav too! Oh really? Big game fishing? I haven’t seen that one. It has group bonuses too? I’m going to Vegas in 3 weeks I will definitely look for it. Sounds fun. Thanks so much for the tip.

I played it at MGM Grand for sure in November and I'm pretty sure I played it at Excalibur as well. But maybe I have the name wrong or there are some different iterations, I think the correct name is Paradise Fishing. There are some YouTube videos but not sure if I'm allowed to post YouTube links here
