I love the fact that their website is actually useful now.

And I hate the fact that I have no idea which fucking password I selected, since you had to create one with thirty different characters, including 3 Egyptian cartouches. Every 4th letter/number needs to be alternating upper and lower case. And you somehow have to login in with a picture of your friends cat attached. Its crazy. Are they really that worried about about our passwords?

Good thing I saved it the 1st time, but now I can only login on one device. Who knows WTF I picked. Any way...

I can see my email address in my profile, and I want to change it. I gave them a junk one when i signed up after they 1st opened. I didnt want to get spam if I wasnt going to be a real player there.

Years later, they are my go to, and I hardly ever check that inbox. But there is zero way to change it online, it is just a viewable field. Unless I'm missing something? Anyone know how to do this? I'd hate to have to wait until my next visit. And I'm too paranoid to hand over part of my social, my address and other personal info over the phone to a stranger.

The best are when websites have security questions which are completely inane, subjective, or inapplicable. There was one website where the questions were like, "Where did you meet your wife?" (I'm not married), "What is your eldest child's name?" (I don't have kids), "What was the first car you owned?" (I've never owned a car). The other options were absurd, along the lines of, "What is your favorite song?" (I could answer that at any given moment but there's no way I'm going to remember what I put down five years later), "Who was your favorite teacher in middle school?" (I'm not sure I could even name one at this point), or "What is the airspeed velocity of an unladen swallow?" (doesn't specify European or African).

This is a bit of a tangent, but the guy who first came up with those password rules has since apologized for being completely wrong: https://gizmodo.com/the-guy-who-invented-those-annoying-password-rules-now-1797643987

There's no way to do it on the website, and no way they'll do it via email, they might do it over the phone, but if you don't want to answer any security questions, you'll have to do it in person.

If you have a host, they might be able to get it done.

I'm sure there is. But I would just have to change it to something random and asinine once more. Here are the rules of your password on their site. My bank doesnt ask for something as crazy as this.

Password must be at least 8 characters long and contain at least one letter (uppercase and lowercase), number and non-alphanumeric character.

I still forget my username on these boards. I'm Grid all over the net. But I had to have a 6 character name on here. I keep forgetting about that ! when I login LOL

    Add another 0 I guess.

It’s the Cosmo. They’ll eventually be sold and turned into something better anyway.

Not sure how that is really possible honestly. Considering the other major players on the strip Cosmo provides a ton of value for me. Customer service is top notch.

I agree Cosmo is top notch! But there have been plenty of rumblings about an eventual Cosmo sale. Blackstone will sell it. They have looked at deals before. Sadly, it is mostly a matter of when and not "if".

The Seminoles couldn't open a Hard Rock in Vegas. It was one of the stipulations when they bought the brand. They weren't allowed to compete with the old Hard Rock there, that wasn't part of the sale to them. BUT, that Hard Rock is now gone, soon to be Virgin. Leaving that caveat open to being exploited.

The Seminoles come in, with a bag of Florida Gambling cash, and takeover the Cosmo. The property is already their type. Just slap some guitars on the facade, add some shadowboxes of fake alleged memorabilia to the walls and you got yourself a new Hard Rock LV!

    I know about the rumblings.

Sadly I think a potential sale is for the worse.

That being said better another independent than mgm or cet

Sorry @VegasMonkey I was in process of typing as you sent your reply.. didn't see it.
