I'm thinking about booking my WSOP trip, assuming its not cancelled over coronavirus. MLife is offering me 4 nights/$100 resort credit if I stay at NoMad. This sounds like it could be a bargain, since my Aria/Bellgio offers are only 3 nights.

Pros in my mind: close to the Aria so I can walk over to play blackjack and live poker. A little off the beaten path since I like it low-key when I'm solo. Probably nicer than Mirage/Mandalay/MGM Grand or other Mlife properties with a 4 night offer.

How do the NoMad rooms compare to Aria/Bellagio? My ignorant assumption is you get a nicer room than a regular Park MGM room. Service would be about the same, "hotel within a hotel" concept notwithstanding.

    Thanks for any insights!

I enjoyed my NoMad stay last year. Would I stay there every trip, probably not, but it was a nice change from the usual manic Vegas pace of life.

The rooms are on the smaller side, but really nicely furnished. It's great having the separate hotel entrance and service was top notch. I cancelled my Aria comp offer for it and didn't have any regrets. Very different to Bellagio rooms, but give it a go if you haven't - least you'll know if you liked it one way or the other.

The lobby and hallways are very dark, moody and chilled out - very cool.

    Hope that helps somewhat!

I haven't stayed there overnight, but I've been in the rooms a number of times. They're nice, but I prefer the Aria rooms, and I consider NoMad/ParkMGM to be a bit disjointed overall. I can't fully articulate it, but I feel like the restaurants don't really fit into the surroundings and aren't cohesive with their neighbors. For some reason I think Aria flows a bit better overall. Bear in mind, too, that ParkMGM is an absolute madhouse during concerts and T-Mobile events. Eataly is a godsend, though.

Good call out on concerts/events. I haven't looked to see if anything is going on when I'm planning my WSOP trip (week of June 15th), but if there is, maybe I go with the Mirage. I like Aria/Bellagio better, bu having that 4th night means more time to catch fish in the cash games. Besides, I'll be solo on this trip so I'd sleep in the housekeeping supply closet if that's what it takes. :D

We stayed in an Atelier room in September and enjoyed it. The room layout is quirky. The shower and sink is separated from the toilet in different rooms. It's a little weird to get used to. I also miss the floor to ceiling windows that you'd have in Aria. What has us coming back to NoMad in late June (fingers crossed) is the service that we received from the staff. It was head and shoulders above the service that we received during our January stay at Aria. From check-in to bell staff to housekeeping, the service was some of the best that we've ever had in Vegas.

I agree with davehughes123. The service at NoMad is outstanding. Some of the best in Vegas. The rooms are a bit quirky but they are very comfortable. NoMad is definitely worth a try.

I did a review of the Nomad Standard Suite a year ago on VF so it’s probably searchable. Worth a try. Quirky as others put it.

Is the service at NoMad worth the downgrade in room size?
Considering Park MGM Nighthawk suite vs Classic King NoMad.
Normally, I stay at Aria or Vdara... but I'd be driving to Vegas this time and if valet is out, parking at Vdaria is generally terrible.

The service at NoMad is really outstanding. It had a very exclusive feel. I enjoy staying there. I’ve never stayed in the Classic King so can’t comment on that. I’ve stayed in the Grand Premier which is very large and has a very nice bathroom.

I stayed in a suite there as well. The service is very good at the Nomad.

That's good to know. I've been meaning to stay there and the fact that it's a bit more exclusive really helps. I like aria but there's quite a few noisy nutcases there. I once checked out early because I couldn't stand the domestic drama next door.
Park mgm going nonsmoking is a cherry on top, though their casino slot selection is questionable.

I've stayed in the Atelier and Grande Suite rooms at NoMad and enjoyed both. The NoMad elevator bank has key card readers and allows you to select your floor. The hallways are a little dark like a high end steakhouse, but the rooms are nice and bright. Some rooms have a soaker tub in the bedroom, but I didn't use it. Both stays were a casino comp. Not sure if I'd pay extra out of pocket for NoMad over Park MGM, but since it's free, I'll take the upgrade.

The only quirky thing to be aware of... In some of the NoMad room types, the toilet is in a separate room from the shower. Maybe it's a European thing??? Or maybe it's just a side effect of when the renovated an existing hotel, and had to deal with existing plumbing.
