It would be nice it they showed when your Tier Points expire. I was 5k away from requalifying and thought, no problem I'll be back next month and that's a slam dunk. Got back to Cosmo the next month and find out 10k expired and now I need 15K. I still requalified that trip but now I make sure I keep better track of my trips so I know when tier Points will expire.

They expire one year after earning. You can check your history by logging int on your identity account. They also tell you on the website that you needed to “earn X points by Y date” to maintain whatever tier you’re at.

Since they use the rolling 365-day method, if they were going to display tier point expiration dates in its own section, they would have to have a row for each day you earned any.

The raw info exists, on the Activity page.

It does show on the site, you just have to use the down arrow by your name and account number. It will then show you your level and the earn X points by Y date as @bayoubengal says.

    That's not point expiration dates.

I guess I don't understand your concern then, to me the only thing that really matters is how many points I need by my anniversary date.

I don't have any particular concern, I was replying to the original post where he said it would be nice to show point expiration. It would be ugly to try to put it in the banner on the main page, but they could do it on a separate page. But as I said, the data exists on the Activity page.

Beyond that, if you have an upcoming trip and you are within shooting distance of advancing your tier, it's helpful to know if you have any points rolling off right before or during that time.

    For example:
    • I go twice a year, January and July. I'm Gold and my anniversary date is the end of July.
    • Right now, my "progress indicator" to advance to Platinum includes points from last July and this past January.
    • I'm going to have points from last year roll off on July 8, 9, 10 and 11.
    • Which means if I don't get 9.937 before July 8, it's going to take way more than 9,937 for me to advance - it's going to take 9,937 plus replacing the points that are going to roll off each day.
    • I keep track of this stuff, so I'll know.
    • But a lot of people don't, they won't notice. Like if I scheduled a trip to begin July 12, I might think I have Platinum in the bag, not think about the 365-day thing, not look at the site the last 3 days before the trip and so not notice that the number of points I need to advance jumped to 21,937 or whatever.

What does it tell you when you click on that and the drop down below your name tells you how many points you need by your anniversary date?

OP said "It would be nice if they showed when your Tier Points expire." That's the only thing I was addressing. But I think now is a good time to stop.
