I'd say there "may" be a good chance it might be included. I may be wrong, but I haven't seen throughout the years when TR/CET doing status matches and not include all the benefits/perks and excluded certain ones. The only upfront semi-monetary value of the Diamond perks is the $100 celebration dinner. And that's not even that big of a "cost" for them really as it's only good at their participating restaurants or Caesar's owned ones. They either get a kickback or highly discounted rate for that voucher.

I didn't find any "asterisks" anywhere, so my guess is they're giving all the base level Diamond benefits. We'll see.

Diamond 1? I don't know if they'll do that. Usually the matches just give the basic diamond perks/benefits, even though the D1 doesn't have much extra perks besides the $100 folio credit.

That's what I meant by Diamond 1. Basic Diamond level. You're right though, they call the 2nd level Aspirations 1, so I'll edit my original post.

Ohhh, got it. No worries Chuck, I wasn't nitpicking, was just making sure I or others didn't get confused.

Just to update the process on this, They upgrade your card and immediately you get all perks EXCEPT the diamond dinner and the show tickets. Those two benefits activate the following Wednesday from when you do the tier match.

It's a little odd tier matching with Grazie as the expiry is not on the card. They kind of were fumbling around on the TR desk asking how they are supposed to know if it's current between the staff members. To expedite the process I just logged into my Grazie account to verify for them. They didn't seem too worried about it but you could tell they were still trying to figure out the process with it all.

Same issue could be had for Cosmo as well. My gold card doesn't have any expiration date either.

Interesting that the diamond dinner is included. Can the dinner credit be used outside of Las Vegas? Also can two diamonds combine into the same meal?

I just came back from Vegas, if anyone follows my trip report that I was trying to hit up Bally's for tier match my MLife platinum. The guy said they are running that promotion however can only be done through manager who was away during that time and he suggested me to go to Paris.

The guy who worked at Paris was running back and forth with the manager and couldn't figure it out how to match. The answer they gave me at the end was, they haven't updated their system so ask me to go back next week LOL

It was a fail attempt from me

Good info to have, since the tier status is only good through Jan 2018, people who don't go very often may have to try to utilize everything during the same trip.

IF they can use it on the same trip! I think there's a lot of people who go Thursday-Sunday and in that circumstance lots won't be able to use it at all!

The diamond celebration dinner can be used outside of Vegas. Get the voucher printed at the property you wish to use it at. You should be able to use at the same meal, however, you might need separate checks.

Kind of figured that on the checks. Looking forward to the match and trying it out.

For the dinner/meal vouchers, I have used it many times with another 7*/diamond member for same meal without issues. After it, they just come back with a receipt for remaining balance, if there is, and you and the other person just sign.

My mother did this today and I went with her. This was here in AZ at Ak-Chin, the are honoring one of the other locals card levels here that my mom has.

The process was super easy, took maybe 5 minutes. They also gave her the two free buffet coupons right away that Diamonds get there because daily of the DL being closed for remodeling right now. They did tell her though that it takes about a week to get upgraded fully so she would have to wait to use the $100 dinner, but everything else was good, even the screen on the slots showed diamond when she put in her card.

So if your platinum with MGM, can you go to the local casino for upgrade?

Here's where one can use the diamond celebration dinner in Vegas.
    https://www.totalrewards.com/content/cet-tr/en/earn-and-redeem/on-location.html

"It is my pleasure to assist you with your Diamond Celebration Dinner inquiry. A list of Caesars Entertainment owned restaurants would be on our website, basically anything that has a check for quick rewards: https://www.totalrewards.com/content/cet-tr/en/earn-and-redeem/on-location.html. Please know Giada is included in your Diamond Celebration Dinner redemption choices. Please let me know if I can be of further assistance."

Unfortunately, I believe that rep is somewhat incorrect. That page has a list of all the places that take Rewards Credits. The list of places you can use the Diamond Celebration voucher appears to be smaller.

This is a pic @Funkhouser posted elsewhere in January. At that time, he noted that
"Bally's choices have changed and Serendipity closed. Steakhouse at Flamingo is renamed and there is a new noodle house at Paris."

I think the best thing to do is to ask for a current list like this when you pick up the voucher, and not rely on that web page as far as the Diamond dinner voucher. I came across his post because I'm staying at PH on my next trip and wanted to use the voucher there, but there's notable restaurants there (KOI and Strip House) that aren't on the voucher list.

Use the drop down menu and click on dining, it then shows locations that accept quick rewards. It may not be 100% accurate as things change, however, it gives an idea. Good news, the 2 places I'm most interested in are on the list. I'll try to get an updated list when I pick up my voucher.

I'm reading on other boards that Total rewards has to target you in order to get the upgrade. In other words, if they didn't send you the email with the link, they wont match. I know someone that went to match just by word of mouth on the promo, and they couldn't/wouldn't since this upgrade was not listed in their account at the club desk.

VC, did you get the email? If not there is hope for the rest of us!

Jyen, same question, did you get the email? If not, maybe that is why the boothling struggled...
