Tropicana, Cosmo and Wynn - Tale of Ten Days in Vegas

this is my first attempt at a TR and I cannot work out how to post the pics in order with my report so they are all together - apologies.

Arrived at Trop as had an offer 400 FP, 300 Dining credit, 2 free show tickets and room. We had a bungalow room and here's the view. No slots or VP photo's as nothing to to report. The VP selection is poor much fewer machines than last year. Lost a lot on Buffalo. My husband did OKmon roulette - it was his ATM as on most visits to it he came away a few hundred up. Food in restaurant near Starbucks was terrible. Biscayne was much better and we. Oth had decent steaks. The Italian restaurant was OK but we are suspicious as we both had upset stomachs the next day. I would not visit the Trop for their restaurants. We saw Rock the Vault. Had seats right at the front. It was very good?
Took the 400 free play to the very empty of punters HL room (that should have been a sign of NOT to go in there) but threw caution to the wind and 400 was done in a few mins. Went of pharaoh a fortune. Got the bonus but second tile as begin free spins,
After 3 days at The Trop I was ready to move on and with bank roll for each day totally spent. Hoping for better things at the next stop Cosmo.

Left Trop early Tues morning to head to the Cosmo. Emailed our host ahead of time and he arrange N early check in so we were in our roo. By 11.30am. View fro our room. Things got much better for me. Got a hand pay on VP. Fu de lee was my ATM - I admit to feeding it a lot of USS but it usually paid you back plus and extra few hundred. Generally had to put around 300 to 500 in. My husband was miserable as he could not win a thing - even roulette was unkind to him. Here are the pics. Again took out 700 FP to HL room and spent 200 on pinball zero return and the rest on a slotty - got 200 back out in cash. Had two good hits on wizard of oz one for 800 and the other for 500 - no pics sorry. Put 20 in a 3 dollar a spin slot machine and hit for 900. Picture here. Popped over to Aria and hit a royal flush on a 25c poker machine for 1K.

For the final part of our trip we went to The Wynn. Arrived there Saturday afternoon. It was unusually quiet but I then realised it was Mother's Day so that is probably why. I don't like playing on machines that do not have a lot of play through. The first few days were dreadful. Played cleopatra for 10 spin but the bonuses were very poor - a couple of hundred at 10'a spin. And I had put over 600 in. Same on pharaohs fortune and to rub salt into the wound when I walked past both machines later someone had a HP on 6.3K on one and 2.3K on the other, but I guess that's gambling for you. By Tuesday things were looking up. I was actually holding my own or winning. Pictures attached. On the last day I turned 100 Tito into 950 for a few hours play. My husband did the best on electronic roulette he started with 100 and cashed out 1400. His numbers doubled and he increased his bets and his other numbers just rolled in. I also got a s all HP on VP. So after a terrible start a win at the Wynn on our last day - probably the best day to do it as we have come home wi USD 5 K. One third of our original bank roll, but better than zero and all our rooms and food etc got comped. We had 35K points at Trop, 50K at Cosmo and 43K at Wynn.

 

I enjoyed playing it and it is great when you get the additional hands. Also love it even more now as it was a decent hand pay. I had put quite a few hundred in but at least it gave it back and more. I would play it again.
