So I'm flying Sunday morning to Las Vegas from EWR (Newark, NJ). I am not sure if I flew United last year (probably did) but what can i expect due to the pandemic (other than having to wear your mask for the full 5-6 hours on the plane).

I haven't flown since last December.....

Thanks in advance... I have read everything that there is to know regarding United from their website... I'm looking for first hand experiences during the pandemic. My parents just got back, and told me themselves. But looking for others reviews.

(They had seats in the far back of the plane, right next to the bathrooms. The people on the plane left the plane a mess. They took toilet paper out of the bathroom...didn't clean up. Looked like a dump they said.).... I have a red eye coming back.

Not my experience at all. I fly from Detroit and into MDW, Denver, and Vegas. They are serious about the masks-they expect it will be over your nose and mouth and not the usual beverage and food service. I fly SWA so always had the middle seat open for now. Airports have some stuff open. Grab a water for the plane and drink some wine for your nerves before you board. You can have a great trip and be safe. But wouldn’t hurt to buy a travel pack of wipes if you’re seriously concerned about no TP. The airport gift shops have Clorox wipes and KN95s but incredibly marked up.

I flew United to and from Vegas last week. The plane was 3/4 full. People were mask compliant and there were no major issues on the flight out. Coming back the plane was 1/4 full. It was a very easy flight. I would check the seat tracker and it will give you an idea of how full your flight is. The less people will likely mean less problems.

Unfortunately from the seat map for my flight, it is packed... with seats available at the back of the plane. At least i will be first on if i do get a back of the plane seat. i won't know where i sit until saturday morning and with my luck it will be a middle. :(.

Tomorrow I leave via united. right now according to the seat map, the aisle seat next to me (i'm in the middle of course) is free. There is still a bunch of empty seats. A guy a few rows back has a whole row to himself. Lucky him. If it stays like this i might be able to jump seats from the middle to aisle. I really prefer the window seat but someone else has that. Gonna be interesting. Bought 6 new masks from the Dollar Tree cause they have new ones that are super comfy.
