"Licensees must require patrons to wear face coverings at table and card games if there is no barrier, partition, or shield between the dealer and each player. This requirement applies to table and card game players, spectators, and any other person within 6 feet of any table or card game."

That pretty much means mandatory for Craps tables. I don’t think I have seen pics of any dice tables with the partitions.

You're a Vegas resident now. What is your take on what you've seen. In the vids I've seen, there has be very few wearing masks and not a lot of social distancing. In a vid of The D, I'd guess 1% of the players/casino guests in the casino were wearing masks and it looked pretty crowded.
Cosmo was pretty much the same. Cosmo has a younger crowd, so I expect the number of people wearing a mask isn't very high.

Cosmo and Downtown are outliers, at least from what I've seen. MGM and CZR properties are being as responsible as can be expected, I'd say. Most patrons at MGM Grand and Bellagio were wearing masks; not everyone, but most. The properties are also actively enforcing capacity restrictions, keeping control of bars/restaurants, have partitions up, and in general are taking things seriously.

I try to avoid taking photos on the floor, but MGM properties have partitions between players and have been requiring masks all along at craps and roulette. There are signs up at the tables.

I'm fully in favor of a month or two of mandatory masks everywhere *if* that means we otherwise get back to normal. Masks on top of a million other restrictions? meh.

Agreed. I don't want this to be a permanent thing, but at this point it's sort of like wearing seat belts -- they're not the most fun thing in the world, but let's just do it for a while. Especially in a town like Vegas where the vast majority of people on a casino floor are somewhere else.
I believe it's 50% of capacity (as determined by the usual fire department inspections). It's honestly kind of unclear how and what they're counting, though. Everyone is still sorting through how this is going to work.

That's actually wouldn't even bother me. I hate when people approach into my craps space lol

I find them a little annoying because they're clear and of the other ones at tables jut out into the walkways -- I will freely admit that my dumb ass has walked into more than one. But I don't mind them as a concept.

Yeah. Craps is the one spot it’s probably good. People always wedging into every spot they can usually if table is good.
