Vegas Quickie April 21-24

    Well tomorrow can't come soon enough. Bags are packed and bank roll is packed away in my slot fund stocking. Plane leaves Victoria at 3:30pm so we don't land in Vegas until 6:15pm. I always get excited the eve before Vegas so hopefully I get a decent sleep. I had a couple glasses of wine to prime me up for tomorrow because for some reason I decided to go on the wagon 3 weeks before Vegas...highly overrated...lol.     I'll do my best...I usually don't bring my phone or computer on trips so this is a first. I may be a bit sporadic when the drinks start flowing but will definitely post pics...hoping for at least one handy!

    I can leave it for a long time when I'm on vacation I like to disconnect from reality and enjoy the moment. Hubs brings his phone so if there's an emergency he can be reached. I'm old fashioned I prefer a chat on the phone over a text any day....as you all noticed the sleep thing isn't going well.

    I'm exactly the same on the sleep. And I usually have no appetite the first day either. Wonder how many trips it takes to Vegas before the pre-trip excitement subsides??

    Oh good- I thought you were going on a solo trip and I thought to myself, "What if the dog sitter needs her?"! LOL Have fun and disconnect! I always have to take a Tylenol PM the night before a vacation or I would never sleep! Good luck!

    I am well over 200 Vegas trips and I still can't sleep the night before we leave. Before I retired, I traveled extensively on business and always slept well before any trip.....unless it was to Vegas.

    My bank roll is smaller than usual since I'm going again for a week beginning of June. Gambling fund is $800/day ($2400) I don't do an envelope system and no visiting my friend Mr. ATM so if I bust out on day one the rest of my trip will be shopping pool and eating but I'm trying something new this trip...winning lol. Just booked Lavo for 7:45 tonight....I usually stop there as soon as I get to Palazzo for the Kobe meatball and calamari split with hubby and of course a glass of red (I normally don't drink red but I love it with the meatball). Night one is usually a late one for me because I go into degen mode and am buzzing with excitement...OK and buzzing from alcohol too! I will post pics soon as I get to the hotel. Thanks for all the good luck wishes!

    We could be twins, behavior wise, my first night I usually overdo it and cannot sleep so I drink a lot and stay up late! I wish you all the fun and happiness (and of course, WINNING)
