I’ve been in Vegas/Utah since the 15th and wanted to share an abridged TR!

Stayed at Aria from 6/15 to 6/18 in a one br sky suite and then at Cosmo in a wraparound (first time!) from 6/18-6/22.

In Utah from 6/22 to 6/25 and heading back to Wynn for 36 hours or so before I fly out Sunday morning.

Had a varying groups of friends with me (one to start, then 2, then 3 starting Saturday in Vegas, and then 1 for the Utah and last Vegas part).

    Let’s do this.

    Aria portion

Gambling was not very good at Aria. For the first time in a long time I basically went through my allotted BR. Had a few decent hits but betting at these amounts, I needed more.

Ate at Carbone, Best Friend, Lago and Nomad Bar. Service at all was great - was worried but was unfounded.

Loved the Skypool at Aria. Got shaded seats every day and the food and beverage were very good!

Did the spa on Thursday and had a strange experience. Had booked a female masseuse but the note wasn’t read so I had a male for the first time. I told him I was nervous, hoping he’d comfort me and say I’ll be fine. Instead he freaked out and said he was uncomfortable being in a small room with someone who was uncomfortable with him. I corrected him and went through with it and it was fine.

    Miscellaneous

We went out a few times. Foundation room (which was pretty empty), XS on Friday (which was not), dueling pianos at NYNY, barbershop for live music, and Chandelier. Had fun times at each but really just kept to ourselves :) usually we chat up someone(s) when we’re out.

Sat outside at Lago. Heat was close to unbearable but loved being so close to the fountains.

Went over to the park mgm area before VGK game 2. So much fun!! Lots of great people watching and a fun atmosphere. The misters at Beerhaus were key to an enjoyable time there.

Speaking of hockey, within 10 minutes of getting to Aria last Tuesday, was behind Joe Michelletti on an escalator. He’s the color guy for the Rangers and does NBC games too. I was too chicken to talk to him though and ask him what he thought about the new coach.

We visited Area 15 on Monday and went to Omega Mart. It’s really fun and interesting.

Awesome; thank for the pics. How was XS? Heading there in a few weeks... Did you just do general admission?

We were on someone’s list. Took about an hour to get in. Was pretty packed but we found a spot to dance and wasn’t crazy busy right next to us :)

Everyone was having a great time and it felt very “normal.”

    Cosmo hits

I definitely get more play at Cosmo and was up for this portion of the trip.

    Took fewer slot pics though

We ate at Jaleo and China Poblano. Don’t think I have Jaleo pics but I really enjoyed both places. Also catch on Monday night because one of my friend’s bdays was Tuesday and she wanted to go.

We did daybeds Saturday and Sunday. Which wasn’t a great call on my part
I wanted to be sure we had our own space and figured we could hit the F&B minimums or be close.

Except it was so hot last weekend and we couldn’t stay out at the pool all day. I’m not a crazy drinker anymore (medical reasons) and two of my friends drink less than me! And at boulevard, there’s very little shade. We had to take lots of booze and food each day.

I’d do it again if the minimums were more reasonable.

Some great wins and fantastic pics.

Oh how much I miss over indulging on foodie treats in Vegas.

Utah portion! We did two nights in a B&B outside Zion and one night at a resort outside St George. We did two hikes at Zion - canyon overlook and part of the narrows.

We did a rim walk and one hike down into BryceCanyon.

I can’t believe how beautiful Utah is!!

Will do the Wynn portion as a semi-live TR! Dinner at a Top Chef contestant’s restaurant tonight and Majordomo tomorrow. Encore spa, tableau and pool time.

And fitting in some gambling :)

The Utah pics are gorgeous. So glad you’re doing a recap.

Boulevard pool minimums are nuts right now, even weekdays.

Are you going to try to squeeze in Resorts World? It’s a short Vegas end to your trip.

I guess we'll let you join...
Dang it, I didn't message you because our trips didn't initially overlap enough. But thanks to the SWA debacle, they did end up overlapping. But I was too scatterbrained at that point to remember. I would have said hello!

Working on my novel of a recap now.

And you should have said hi to Joe! Haha I always liked him. He was the Blues color commentator when I was a kid.

Good stuff so far! And good luck at Wynn this weekend!
