A number of months ago I decided to chase a $20k royal, and picked deuces wild and Wild Sevens. I wanted lower variance and I wanted to avoid a shit-load of $1250 signers. Well, I got absolutely wrecked - one set of quad wild sevens and that was it. After yet another beating, I decided to play some $1 TTB - my old standby.

My last 3 royals have all been from holding 2 cards. I haven't connected on a 3 to a royal since 2018.

 

Nice draw! But no draw 2 (or less?) draws since nearly when I first met you? You need to fix that!!!

 

Nope. I just checked, December of 2017 was my last royal holding 3 cards. 2019 I had two royals - holding 2 cards and a dealt one. 2020 and 2021 zero royals. 2022 I had one royal holding two cards. 2023, one royal holding 2 cards.

Over the same span I had several Dream Card royals - all dealt or holding 4 cards.

 

Last night at Harrah’s NorCal..got absolutely destroyed.

Gem bar at Aria 3/4 years ago. dealt 4Aces with a king. triple double $2 credits. got the 3 on draw. $8K. funny thing is i had never played triple double, only double double. bartender asked my son and I if we ever played triple. told him no. he said more volatile but can be good. three hands later, boom. had just bumped up from $1 to $2. good decision. tipped him a hundy

Second royal in a week, both in spades. I've never had a clubs or diamonds (non-Dream Card) royal - need to work on those.

Right. But, I was getting mighty close to having to give it up. At first $5 play was going ok with a set of aces on bonus, the quad wild sevens and a number of other nice +$500 or $1000 sessions. Then, it went straight down the crapper; and for a long time. Despite $1k - $2k a month in FP, I was getting wrecked. I estimate I played 3 quad wild cycles, but only hit one. Good thing the royal came way ahead of schedule.

The assist goes to $1 STP BP. After losing quickly on the fives, a small buy in quickly rose to $1200 plus - giving me more bullets to chase the fives.

 

Been a while since I had any good VP wins. Was at Turning Stone over the weekend and was killing time before dinner. Was down almost $300 and I switched to dimes on a whim. I wasn't really paying attention too closely cause it was just a pair of 3's and no dice role on the deal.





I didn't even remember hearing the roll on the draw and I couldn't do math fast enough. I though maybe I won a few hundred but saw the credit meter was heading past 1K that I realized it was a hand pay of $1604.00 from a pair of 3's.

Also won $1000 at bingo so it was a good day for a change instead of just giving a donation.

 

This was from a month ago but heading there again this weekend and hope to repeat. I put in about $40 and was getting lots of hits so bumped to 50 cent denom. Had a 10x multiplier and the middle filled in, $1250 win!

I pulled the same King high straight flush years ago just holding a King. Mine was only $12.50 though. Doh.

 

Couldn’t hit the progressive but this wasn’t bad.
