At the start of every year I have a plan of what I want to play and for what stakes. After last year's flurry of coin in (over $5 million just from playing Bonus Streak and only winning a relatively small amount) I wanted to start playing the year at the 10 cent level to cut back on W2G's. Only thing that bothers me about getting my seventh (and lowest amount) dealt royal flush of my life is that I couldn't snag even one multiplier. However, I did at least get a 12x 4 aces four hands later.

 

Uhh..no disrespect but if you put in FIVE MILLION coin-in on a NEGATIVE expectation game and were UP money (even $1) you literally broke records.
I would say for 2023 I played maybe $500k and I was DOWN $75,000!

I don't play much in CT anymore, Foxwoods used to be my go-to and I would occasionally pop into Mohegan Sun. I still get free gifts and concert tickets from Mohegan Sun all the time and most shows I am not interested in but they had an interesting show for nostalgia - Riley's L.A. Guns, Vixen, Quiet Riot and Stephen Pearcy (The Voice of Ratt). It was a fun show even if none of the bands were the full originals, most are down to just one original player.

Got there early to pickup tickets and came across Ultimate X Spin Poker, outside of Palazzo in Vegas I have never seen this game and it is like crack for me.

Was down about 225, every potentially good multiplies after dealt straight, flush and a full house, would be garbage hands. Had board set up with 4x across all lines and held pair of aces.



Initially the way the other 2 aces landed I was like "fu*k, it missed by a spot" but then the "Big Win X" was going off" and I looked closer and not only did it land a 4 Aces, the 2 kicker was there too in the upside down V line. I cashed out and didn't play the rest of the day and booked a win for a change instead of putting it all back in like I usually do.

We had upper bowl seats in the arena so it is a little far but it was side of stage so it was still decent seats, I like their arena for concerts. Its 10K seats for basketball but they don't use the end for concerts so maybe it is around 8K seats.



Stephen Pearcy played their first album end to end but moved Round and Round to the end and only did one encore song. Overall it was a fun night, never got to see these bands back in the heyday.

 

I see your point. I just hate having to enter 151 W2G's from that game in 2023 into Turbo Tax. It is very time consuming. If I had won more I wouldn't mind as much. But I think everyone thinks that way.

Was down a heap on DSTP and Ult X and decided to try DC to maybe save the day with a quad deuce. Paytable, tho...

As in past years, my plan of what to play for the year has come to an end. Lasted almost 3 weeks. I have switched from 10 cent Double Bonus Bonus Streak to 25 cent Jacks or Better Bonus Streak. Main reason was lack of coin in. I would like to maintain my freeplay offers and I was only doing about $8k coin in per hour at 10 cent. $.25 cent gets me to $20k coin in per hour and keeps the offers rolling in. My first 2 forays into JoB came out well (one modest win and one very slight loss more than offset by freeplay collected) so I went all out yesterday and did $258,075 coin in (10,323 deals) in 13 hours of play. I got 6 dealt quads and 2 royal flushes. Most important, I only received 1 W2G. This was my best January I have ever had thanks in part to my free play collected which accounted for 42% of my profit for the month.

Only 1 Royal Flush (thankfully it was multiplied and my only jackpot, but woefully under royaled given the number of hands played)

I could have played another 8 to 10 hours but as I was comfortably ahead I decided to catch up on my sleep so I wouldn't be a zombie at work the next day.

These were my best hits from my most recent trip. Only had the one dealt quad the entire trip. Good thing it was right after I got back to back dealt trips to boost all the multipliers to 12x. If only I could do that with a dealt royal.
