Hi my name is Stefania and I'm posting from Italy.
We( me and my husband) are coming in Vegas in August...It's going to be our 12th time..
We're platinum at Mlfife and we usually stay at Aria, but also at Cosmo and Venetian.
We have a host in each resort and we have an offer from each of them..
But I have a sort of curiosity and I'd like to try Caesar for the first time.
So I need your precious help, usually I don't dare to post anything because of my english, but I'm looking for a Caesar's host or also a Flamingo Host, I heard of beautiful new rooms there... I'd like to try Total rewards, but I don't know any host there.
When someone asked me my host contact in the past I was souspicious and jealous... You Know, I was scared that someone could chase my hosts or make them wate their time.
I could promise that I'm going just to show my offer and to ask for a chance.. I don't know if this is the right way to explain it.
Ok so it's up to you.
You could contact me with a private message, if it's better for you.
Thank you very much for each post that anyone of you write everyday, it's a very good read and it' also a beautiful way to feel Vegas closer..

I understand everything you wrote. And welcome!

A balcony at Cosmo beats anything at Flamingo.

Try for a room at Caesars Palace. Unless you’re guaranteed a Go Room or Suite, I’d avoid Flamingo. I was given one of the remodeled rooms in the Habitat Tower in March. It was small and felt unfinished. There was a tall floor lamp and small table near the window, but no chair in that area. The furniture was cheap. I had a very nice remodeled room at Planet Hollywood in January. Although the room was small, they made great use of the space. PHo has large bathrooms with a soaking tub.

Ciao Steffy! What type of room do you normally stay in at Aria? Is it a regular room or a suite? Cosmo and Venetian rooms are comparable (excluding the balcony), IMO. I have stayed at Caesars many times, and love it's proximity, but for me, even the nicest room at Caesars doesn't compare to Aria, Venetian or Cosmo. The Augustus and Palace towers were recently "refreshed", but still, I don't feel like the rooms are quite as nice as the others. If you haven't already, check out videos on Youtube to compare. On the plus side Caesars has a fabulous pool area and good restaurants to choose from, and as I said, the location can't be beat. I haven't stayed at Flamingo, and probably never would, so can't be of any help there. If you already have a host at Venetian, maybe you could try Palazzo for a change. Those rooms have all recently been redone and are really very nice. Aside from that, if you're looking for a change, I'd suggest Wynn/Encore. Good luck in your decision making process. It's always 3/4 the fun in planning a trip.

    Hi Sam!
we usually stay in regular room at Aria because we prefer to have a regular one comped for 7/9 days and also a good RC amount than a suite for less days..
At Cosmo we usually had a balcony room and I really loved them.
I found your post very interesting first of all because I thought that Venetian and Palazzo were the same thing.. so I didn't consider to change Venetian for Palazzo.
Then you make me think that I never saw a Caesar's room, I just thought that there should be beautiful...but never check it out..
I'd like to stay at Caesar just for the position, the mall and the restaurants...there are also many many slots..I don't think I'll get bored..
Many years ago ( I think 8/9) we stayed 21 days at Encore, we payed the room and the flight ticket when we were home.. We didn't have any host.
The last night I was playing waiting the morning to do the check out when a host came and sat down next to me.
She told that they were so surprised that we didn't have any host, that we stayed 21 days, that we didn't ask for anything free, she told us that the whole bill would be comped and that they'll be happy to pay us a last lunch wherever we want.. unfortunatly our flight was early in the morning..so she gave us a free ride with one of their limo to the airport. Then she told us to make her know when we'd like to come back in order to make us an offer..
This is how I discovered what a host is and also how I understood that you don't have to blindly trust them because she and his collegue never replied to one of my e-mail the following months ..
This is why I still love and hate Encore..
Thank you very much for your advises.
Grazie mille= Thank you so much

This is true. The decor is a little plain compared to the other high-end places. It's OK though.

If you are used to staying at Aria, Cosmo and Venetian/Palazzo, at Caesars Palace, you really want a Strip View room in the Augustus Tower or a room in the Octavius Tower.

The rooms are pretty much the same in both towers. The rooms are decent sized, 650 SF (60 m2), and the bathrooms are OK. The Augustus Strip View room has a nice view, if you're high enough, it's a fountain view.

I should add that in August, the price of an Augustus or Octavius room is probably reasonable. A Palace Tower room would be an OK substitute if your contact at Caesars does not offer you one of the other rooms.

    Ciao Belli!
I had my offer from Caesar's after I wrote to both the hosts that you suggested. The bigger offer is this” 7 days comped OR 600$ FP and 350$ resort credit” that is a good offer for one who never played there before. What would you choose? 17-24 august...
    Make me know!

What room type did they offer you? If it's an Augustus Strip View, I think I would take the room. The room would cost you a lot more than the $950 in FP + RC they offered.

I don’t know what kind of room is offered and I didn’t dare to ask because this is my first stay, anything they give me is before I give them a single $.
So the decision is room or fp + rc without any information about the room.
What site did you used to quote the room??

    I went to www.caesarspalace.com

There are not any horrible rooms at Caesars, but I think it's OK for you to ask them what kind of room.

Right now, the least expensive room they have on those dates is a Forum Tower room at $1,439 including all taxes and fees. There's nothing wrong with that room, but the decor is very boring. It's probably the least attractive room at Caesars, because they have updated the furnishings in all of their other towers.

I would take the room and ask for a complimentary upgrade to Augustus Tower, high floor, strip view at check in. 7 nights comped up front is generous.

Check with total rewards to see if you qualify for a tier match to diamond.

Caesars is much better than Flamingo but you will pay more. Unless I get a kick ass room offer from Flamingo I will always stay at Caesars Palace.

If you are a member of other players clubs like Venetian or Cosmo or MLife and you have a certain status (like Platinum at MLife), Caesars players club (it's called Total Rewards, and has different tier levels like the rest) may give you Diamond tier status right from the start. That's referred to as a "match" - they're matching your status at other casinos.

That would get you certain benefits similar to high tiers at other casinos - free parking, no resort fees, that kind of thing.

    That would be fantastic!
Actually I’m platinum, but I already had a total rewards card... this make me not more eligible for this kind of “ match”?
It’s going to me my first time at Caesar but not the very first time that I played there...
