Definitely crazy... Anything "Buffalo Trace" sells like hotcakes here. If you aren't at the store 1 hr after unboxing, you lose out!

I've seen it at the one in Montgomery, IL on several occasions. I'm not in there often though. It's not even in the little high dollar room, just out on the shelf. A small local guy usually gets some decent bottles and he'll hold stuff for me so I try to shop there when possible

Keeping with my Oktoberfest theme for the evening. Grilled brats, fried spatzel, and sauerkraut washed down with this fine "dark beer"

Regarding good Bourbon finds... last time in Mcarran on my way home, one of the duty free stores had Stagg for sale. Went to buy and take home domestcally... . but was denied and told it was for international travel only.....

Anyone know if Stagg is available in any of the local vegas liquor stores?

    Some fancy stuff there!

Hope Rumking is better than Pumking. Pumking is probably the most disappointing pumpkin beer I have had. Dogfish Head Punkin Ale isn't far behind there. My all time favorite is Schlafly Pumpkin.

I got some 14 and 15 in the fridge. Though I do intend on drinking them. Had a 14 a few weeks ago for the hell of it.

Also have several of the Vertical Epics by Stone Brewing.

Started with Ghost today mid first quarter of the LSU game. Gotta slow roll it today as I’m heading to the ALDS game2 tonight. First pitch it 8:07 local tome.

And glad they distribute in Texas now. Hopefully they expand their line up here soon though. There are so many small batch stuff that doesn’t make it very far. They have a Irish Stout aged in Jameson barrels as well as a candied pecan stout aged in Jameson barrels.

I snagged the Ghost in the Machine today at HEB and I think they had that Irish Stout there. I'll take a closer look at it and see tomorrow when I drink it.

Nope, that's not the one that I grabbed. It was an Irish Stout but brewed by NOLA, not Parish. my bad. I'll have Mrs. P keep an eye out for it though. If they get it in her store I'll let you know that it's in the Houston area.

Irish Channel Stout by NOLA is a good one though.

11.5%; 4.36/5 Untappd avg...sounds amazing. I doubt it leaves LA though for public consumption, except for those who tried it at GABF in Denver.
